23/08/2025: I knew I could get delicious gelato in Italy. But Lolla Gelato is on another level! They truly celebrate the art of gelato making. Every flavor I tried was outstanding. Not overly sweet, not artificial, not watered down. Instead, a symphony of natural and, above all, local flavors, like blackberry, fig, or peach. For me, one of the best gelato shops in the world! Excellent, keep it up!

08/03/2026: I'd like to talk to whoever wrote "the pizza is excellent" or "the ingredients are top-notch." Have you ever eaten a pizza other than this? Thin pizza, burnt edges, dough like bricks, raw in the center. The porcini mushrooms didn't even taste of water, the capricciosa with sausage was undetectable, no artichokes, full of green olives, the prosciutto was like wood. We asked for fried foods as an appetizer, and they were nothing short of appalling, cooked in very old oil. Served without sauce, without salt, without anything. We sat down after booking, and they didn't bring us cutlery, menus, or napkins. After about 20 minutes, I had to ask to take our order; no one bothered to come to the table and take care of us. The pizza was served on a paper plate, and when you cut it, the pieces of paper end up in the pizza you eat. As for the quality of the ingredients, I'll just say that my partner had to rush to the hotel because she felt sick after eating less than half a pizza, and she was sick all night. I'm still struggling to digest. We spent €28 for two, which is perhaps the only positive thing about this place for those who are watching their wallets, but I wouldn't have given them even €5. I won't come back here even under torture. I don't understand who released those headlines on the wall. I sincerely hope it was a bad night, but I doubt it.

28/02/2026: Passing through Soriano, we stopped at Gigi's. A simple and authentic little restaurant/cafe, in the best sense of the word. The place is traditional and rustic, an experience for non-locals. The menu is dictated verbally; you choose, and then they serve you at your table. We had a gricia, a strozzaprete with creamed artichokes and pancetta for our first course. Generous portions and very tasty pasta, I suspect homemade. We continued with an osso buco and spare ribs/sausage accompanied by turnip greens. Everything was good, simple, and well-made. I also recommend the accompanying focaccia. Very fair price. We'll be back!

28/02/2026: A true osteria in Blera. During the three villages walk, we had dinner at this osteria. Hospitality, courtesy, and a lamb dish that was out of this world. Highly recommended.

24/02/2026: Everything was excellent, from the appetizer to the first course, to the second course, all cooked as they once were: flavors that are hard to find. Compliments. Highly recommend.

15/03/2026: Always a great experience: giant, delicious, well-topped pizza at great prices! Fast service, pleasant atmosphere, and a great location right in the center of Viterbo. Every time I'm in Viterbo, I happily return. Reservations are practically impossible, so be prepared for long lines.

10/03/2026: I went there on Sunday 8th March for the first time and I had a great time, a family atmosphere with Mario, a very kind person who makes you feel at home right away... then the exceptional pizza, very large, very topped and delicious... all the desserts were super good because the 4 of us shared them... highly recommended

01/03/2026: A truly special place. Rooms directly overlook the lake, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming; and the food is truly delicious. Special mention goes to the first courses (tonnarelli allo scoglio and paccheri with octopus and pecorino cheese), which are truly delicious! Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

15/03/2026: A tour of Tuscia cannot exclude the village of masterpieces, Bassano Romano. A discovery of friendly people, nature, tastes, and flavors. At Emme's house, they welcomed us and recommended a game-based menu. Everything was excellent, even the desserts, some different and original. We certainly appreciated the rustic, refined atmosphere, the professional and friendly service, the original cuisine with almost impossible-to-find dishes, and authentic flavors. 07/03/2026: Organizing a Friday night is a courageous undertaking, especially when you're hosting a demanding and well-trained group like mine. Fate led us to Casa di Emme, and it couldn't have worked out better. We had a wonderful evening, sampling Tomhawk, pork shanks, and sandwiches, all preceded by an excellent house platter. We were lucky enough to have booked the very day Occhiali da Soli were performing, a mix between the Rolling Stones and Squallor, who made our evening a story to tell our descendants. Everything was made even more epic by our waiter Marco, who treated us to a pitcher of beer and a story of his time with SS Lazio five-a-side football. Being served by a champion has a whole other flavor. In short, if you happen to be here, don't hesitate to stop by. Long live Emme, long live Marco, long live football, long live the cousins, you already know the last one.
