07/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, good wine selection. Carefully prepared and tasty dishes. Fair prices. The porcini mushroom-filled gnocchi are excellent. The porcini mushroom soup is excellent. The pici with tomato and basil are excellent. The pappardelle with wild boar is excellent. Everything is delicious. The grilled and sautéed porcini mushrooms are excellent. The restaurant has a huge fireplace that creates a great atmosphere. The owner is friendly and always ready to share a joke.
We'll be back!

08/11/2025: A top-notch restaurant specializing in local dishes from the Upper Tuscia region. We tried the oxtail stew, which was excellent, and the pici with bacon and the mixed crostini appetizers were equally delicious! I also highly recommend trying the beans!

06/01/2026: Attentive and courteous staff, quick preparation of the dishes... The pizza has a light dough and the fact that they stocked lactose-free products also helped a lot..... The atmosphere is nice.... I didn't know the place but we'll probably return. 👍

07/01/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant with my family, with its unique and charming atmosphere, where time seems to have stood still. The quality and authenticity are top-notch. From the creamy pecorino cheese to the warm bread with sauces, from the typical local handmade pasta, lombrichelli alla vitorchianese (a sauce with fennel and pecorino), from the lombrichelli with broccoli, raisins, and sausage, to desserts like the wine-filled donuts. The local Viterbo wine was delicious. Everything was superb. I can't wait to return to beautiful Viterbo to eat here again. The price was absolutely right, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Personally, we didn't like it very much: the prices were high for the quantity and type of dishes, and the flavors we won't remember.
To each his own, based on his own tastes, but for us, it's a no.

The pinsas were very good and richly filled. The first and second courses are a bit pricey for the quantity offered, but the flavors were appreciated.
The location is very beautiful and charming, and I highly recommend them if you're in the area.
05/01/2026: Discovered by chance on a rainy Sunday in January and was completely satisfied. Excellent food, excellent service, and fair prices, finally considering I ate TRUFFLE!!! The only slightly disappointing thing is the limited wine list, but you have to take that into account, it's in Soriano nel Cimino.
What a find!!
Oh, I forgot, finally a place with parking!!!

07/12/2025: After many years, we returned to the licensed trattoria. I can confirm that the dishes are true to the tradition of trattorias of the past, with a family atmosphere and a warm welcome, a roaring fireplace in the dining room with grilled meat. I'll let the attached photos do the talking.

07/12/2025: I just finished eating at this trattoria with a friend and we still have to get up...
We hadn't booked, but they kindly found us a table to eat... What can I say? Everything was so good I didn't even think about taking a photo of the food 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ but I can assure you it deserves top marks... While I was eating the puntarelle, I said to my friend... "I'm enjoying it" 😅😅😁😁 Highly recommended. The guys are great, the food is great, and the place is really welcoming ❣️

07/12/2025: Intimate, rustic atmosphere, excellent, and courteous service. We ordered two steaks with a side of chicory, a sweet and a bitter house liqueur, preceded by three bruschettas with Colonnata lard. Everything was excellent, except the portions were a bit small.

07/01/2026: A tavern...renovated in the decor and even a bit in the menu with meats that aren't exactly local! I tried the Etruscan pizza: good, as was the chicory-filled focaccia. But in Viterbo they do make sfogliata!
04/01/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance, following a recommendation from a local from Viterbo to a small group of tourists. The pizza bianca with chicory and sausage was excellent, as was the chestnut soup. The atmosphere was elegant, the staff friendly, and the house wine was reasonably priced. I'd gladly return to try something else.

24/01/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Il Borgo, who hosted our group of 20 people with great care and professionalism. The food was excellent, the service attentive and welcoming, and everything was handled smoothly despite the size of the group.
We were especially touched by the kindness and generosity of the staff, who went out of their way to assist the group’s mother when she had difficulty walking uphill to the bus station. This thoughtful gesture truly meant a lot to us.
A fantastic place with great food, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality.
