30/08/2025: I need to catch up on yet another review that's been lost for some unknown reason, especially here, which is a must-see for anyone who knows and lives in this area. Ponte Milvio used to be three things: the market (first on the left of the square, then where the parking lot is now, and finally indoors where it is today), Pallotta's for pizza at dinner, and Gianfornaio. Period: three pillars. But that was the Gianfornaio located on the square, on the corner of Via Flaminia... where you'd find ladies in fur coats queuing like housewives... one of the best bakeries in the entire capital. Now Gianfornaio is a brand and you can find it in branches just about everywhere, but it's not the same. The quality of the baked goods has remained medium-high, but the selection has obviously expanded in a location that has made nightlife its cornerstone, and competition has multiplied dramatically. This place is a go-to for many offices in the area, and has therefore also specialized in lunch breaks, although it struggles to handle the sometimes very hefty crowds (for example, for SNA courses or other events). Service is fairly quick and friendly (the weak point remains the cash register, but this is a bit of a constant in Rome), the prices are not low but fairly in line with the local area, and the overall experience remains positive, especially the breakfast portion. I'm a bit nostalgic for the original formula and feel that this aperitivo craze has ruined the typical local dining experience, but Gianfornaio—at least this—remains a resource for those who come here. And let's hope it puts a stop to this globalization that has impoverished what may be an ancient but tried-and-tested formula. Need help? 25/10/2025: It's not worth it because the price is very high and the quality is terrible. The seafood spaghetti dish was awful, with a bitter taste, and the carbonara didn't taste good either. I don't recommend it at all. We were saddened to pay €45 for this meal.

01/07/2025: Torno quest'anno dopo una brutta esperienza , perchè era il posto per mangiare più vicino allo stabilimento e a piedi faceva troppo caldo per cambiare. Questa volta siamo stati meglio perchè il servizio è stato molto veloce seppure era di domenica. La carbonara saporita ma con troppo sugo dentro il piatto. Pappardelle al cinghiale in bianco discrete. Prezzi medio alti rispetto al servizio basic. In due con bimbo di 2 anni sul conto in ritardo mi sono accorto di 5 persone acctreditate del servizio anzichè 2 e ....mezzo... Però staviolta ci stava anche lo scontrino fiscale.

22/06/2025: If you are a tourist and young, avoid. We sat in this bar for a quick aperitif. The owner, who seemed almost annoyed by our presence, brings us 2 spritz without even something to nibble on, which was something that was available at other tables. Moral of the story, 18 euros for two spritz and a lot of arrogance

18/06/2025: Not having a menu to look at says a lot. A 4 cheese + a capricciosa + 2 cans of coke for €25.00 seems excessive to me, not having a menu to look at as feedback. Pizza tastes are subjective and I say there are better around. Do I recommend it? No, avoid

20/10/2025: We ate and we didn't like the portions, very small and not so good quality. I ordered a lasagna and the size was almost the size of a finger. We thought it was the owner's lunch because the presentation left much to be desired.

08/07/2025: I was there on Saturday night with friends... June 28, 2025, it was forbidden to pay by debit card as requested by the organizer... you paid directly to the owner, a PR delegated 2 ladies... at a small table to take only cash from the event with live music to dance to... there were about 100-110 people... the service was very slow, the food poor... the bathrooms were dirty and unsanitary... I was not given any receipt for tax payment... I and everyone else having noticed it... with my friends... all money taken under the table... never again next time I will call the relevant person...

01/11/2025: WORST EXPERIENCE EVER , The food took 50 minutes… we had to ask for water twice, they were not nice when we were ordering. And we had to wait 20 minutes to pay the bill.

24/10/2025: Today, October 12, 2035, lunch on a beautiful terrace, beautiful view, but price and quality are not there. A tray for two people plus a hot dish in a small bowl of beans lost in the sauce—if there were two beans, I'd say too many. The wait was long, indeed very long, for having ordered a Funivia appetizer and a plate of mezze maniche alla carbonara, perhaps; they were waiting for the egg that the hen was hatching. After a long time, the pasta alla carbonara arrived, very salty, and boiled bacon. To finish, I can only say that the location and the view are fine. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it.

04/10/2025: Really good coffee and amazing croissants! We grabbed ours for take away, but there’s also a nice area where you can sit in and enjoy it. The coffee was smooth and full of flavor, and the croissants were fresh and buttery. The staff were super friendly and welcoming too. Definitely worth a stop if you’re nearby!

10/09/2025: Ultra-processed pastries with fillings that just taste like something artificial. Sandwiches that come pre-made in plastic, orange juice mixed with water to make it seem like a bigger quantity, average coffee. Too expensive, don't come here.

30/06/2025: If they keep giving you the peel without cutting it I won't take it anymore. All the pizzerias cut it before giving it to you. But not them. If you don't ask you get home and you have to cut it with makeshift means...

30/06/2025: Sono anni che occasionalmente prendo la pala a portar via e sono veramente stufo del fatto che non taglino la pizza se non glie lo chiedi espressamente. Penso sia l unica pizzeria che fa così. Non pensano al disagio ...arrivare a casa e doverla tagliare da solo con mezzi di fortuna . Veramente scomodo.

15/06/2025: Das war genau das, was wir suchten. Ein hervorragendes Mittagessen mit Blick auf das Meer. Man kann im Restaurant zwischen verschiedenen Möglichkeiten auswählen: Self-Service, Essen mit Bedienung, Eiscafe. Wunderbar für einen Tag am Strand.

11/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per caso. La location molto carina e sopratutto in atmosfera rilassante. Pranzo ottimo piatti abbondanti e molto buoni. Consigliamo!

20/07/2025: Casale tenuto veramente bene e adatto a tutti, grandi spazi per i bimbi dove poter giocare ma anche molta ombra per i più grandi dove poter stare in tranquillità. L’ingresso comprensivo di parcheggio e barbecue, viene €15 pp. (adulti e ragazzi) €10 se non si usufruisce del barbecue, non poco sinceramente, ma la proprietaria ne giustifica onestamente le varie spese. Risulta meno onesto e logico quindi, il prezzo a persona del barbecue, dove gruppi numerosi di persone (ad esempio 20 pp. sganciano €300 euro (€100 se vogliamo togliere le €200 di ingresso) per usufruire del barbecue (nemmeno munito di legna) quando in realtà dovrebbe avere un prezzo fisso da suddividere per tutti i partecipanti. Posto molto bello, forse un po’ caro considerati gli effettivi servizi offerti.

21/06/2025: Qualità prezzo non proporzionata per il menù fisso con antipasto di salumi e formaggi ( solo ricotta) e primo bevande incluse. Bella location ma a parer mio da rivedere la cucina. Servizio molto brava la ragazza in sala
