20/02/2025: Classic Roman pizza, perhaps a little burnt. Very courteous girl at the tables

23/01/2025: Thursday evening, only 3 tables (11 people total). We waited over 1.5 hours for terrible food. The service was also poor: not even two breadsticks while we waited. Now I understand why it's always empty.

31/10/2025: The food was okay. The guys liked it. I ate my carbonara with a generous amount of pepper. It wasn't bad, but for a place like this, it could have been nicer. The man with the limp didn't make a good impression. The place is geared towards tourists. I probably won't be back.

23/10/2025: I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. If I could, I would give it zero stars! The staff is horrible. When we were there, a guy wanted to eat alone and was told everything was reserved because they don't accept single people at tables.

29/10/2025: Doesn't deserve such a low rating I paid €13 for spaghetti and meatballs which was very delicious not frozen then microwaved which I found many placed did this unfortunately so id recommend this place

17/10/2025: We ended up here by mistake and regretted it. We had mistaken the restaurant, and by then it was too late. After a week in Rome, my concentration had waned, and we ended up in this tourist trap. The service was nice, but the food and drinks were terrible. The glasses were dirty, and there was a dead insect floating in my companion's drink. The food wasn't well presented, and the pasta was overcooked. It was also quite expensive.

22/07/2025: Extremely dirty place, overflowing garbage cans, empty bottles on the floor, green pool water🤮 the blonde girl on staff is incredibly rude, she even doubts whether you can pay the entrance fee or not, when they don't even leave a receipt, I'm sorry but in my opinion it's not a pleasant place to spend a day and they are not suited to be in contact with the public let alone managing a place like this. NEVER AGAIN!

14/07/2025: Lunch with a group of friends with a pre-arranged menu that was supposed to include: appetizer A buffet with sandwiches, cold pasta, rice salad, cold cuts, fried meats, and assorted pinsa for the second course. The appetizer arrived: 15 mini sandwiches (there were 26 of us) that looked like wet cardboard, cold pasta with pesto, I presume, that not everyone got, and a tasteless rice salad. There was no sign of the cold cuts or fried meats. They brought a large pot of trofie with tomato sauce, zucchini, and eggplant, all tasteless and served individually with the plates in hand like a charwoman. What struck me most were the drinks: beer was put in a carafe so as not to reveal that they were the plastic bottles from the discount store, and even the wine was from the discount store. Last but not least, the goat droppings in the middle of the pool loungers... You fooled us, this time you won't fool us again. Goodbye!

04/11/2025: I booked a full five days in advance. The norm, right? Wrong. THE STAFF: I get there and they hadn't even taken our names...they let us sit after about fifteen minutes, but oh well, we were hungry and ready anyway. This young guy greets us, who I don't think had the slightest idea where he was or what he was doing there...and we ask, "What do you recommend?" A silent scene continues. We ask, "Can you bring us the menus?" He turns and goes to call the head waiter...and whatever. He arrives and shouts, laughing, "Whatever you want here"... but as soon as he starts listing the "dishes," he adds that practically everything is missing. THE FOOD: You pretend to be Roman and make me carbonara with cream and bacon cooked 10 days ago and reheated in the microwave. They made portions for 10 of us, but there were only 2 of us...what kind of plan is that? We completely skipped the main course, and looking at the other tables, there were... two pieces of chicken... two strips... two broccoli... but two for number, eh? There was a table next to us with a dozen people celebrating a birthday, and when the lights went out, to surprise them, they simply turned them off and sang. Then they turned them back on. No cake... the kids were clearly confused... from what I understand, they had brought the cake... what happened to it? THE BILL: Anyone who knows Bottarolo knows him for his damned bill... they tell you 25 euros for an all-you-can-eat meal, but we only had the main course and a drink (that was awful, too). I paid. If you know any inspectors, financial police, Ghostbusters, or Avengers, call them and have them intervene. I know some inspectors... almost. Bye bye I see that if I give you 1 star, it raises your average... come on.

26/10/2025: A HORROR You can't have a Roman name, pass yourself off as a typical Roman restaurant, and then have TOTALLY Indian (or similar) management. Without taking anything away from ethnicity and culture, BUT if I had wanted "non-Roman" food, I would have made a different choice. Regardless of the details, the food was inedible, and we felt sick. The staff is very kind and helpful, truly friendly, but unfortunately, the dining experience was awful.

25/09/2025: I ordered a cake for my nephew's 18th birthday. I went there several times and even called to make sure the cake looked like the photo the lady at the pastry shop took to show the pastry chef. Moral of the story: the cake, while good, was awful and didn't look anything like the photo I'd given. I pointed this out when I picked it up and then, of course, went back to tell them, but by then, €75 was gone. It was enough to say they weren't capable; sincerity is unknown. Too bad.

23/07/2025: My children stopped to order takeaway pizzas. They were speaking French to each other while they waited to order. After a 5-minute wait, the pizza maker told them he was no longer serving pizzas, even though there was still pizza dough in his box. In short, it must be a pizzeria reserved for Italians. If they ever come to Belgium, we won't serve them fries 😂

23/07/2025: The staff refuses to serve foreigners, really shameful!! We kindly said hello to them in Italian but when we heard us talking amongst ourselves they told us that they had no more pizza even though we could clearly see the pizza bases on the side.

23/06/2025: Mi ricordo tanti anni fa agli esordi il cartoccio costava 7,00€ poi salito negli anni gradualmente per passare a 14,00€ e considerando anche le bibite è un bel salasso!! per quanto gustosa possa essere è sempre una frittura di calamari. Mi dispiace privarmene ma sarà una scelta obbligata non lo ritengo un posto per le mie tasche.

20/06/2025: Oggi 20 giugno 2025 ho avuto il piacere di pranzare in questo ristorante e sono rimasto letteralmente stregato dal piatto suggerito dal titolare: tonnarelli amatriciani con polpo e pecorino....e chi li molla più, oltretutto uno più gentile dell'altro....ottimo!!!

28/07/2025: Localização eh ótima , drinks bons, entrada boa, mas prato principal abaixo do padrão italiano , macarrão Alfredo com chichen, sem molho , e sem tempero , inaceitável …!!!!! Errou feio!!!!!!!!!!

14/07/2025: Tenía una pizza Quattro Formaggi muy buena y a un precio razonable, perseguida por un buen tiramisú, expreso y limoncello. También kudos extra para pantallas de televisión que muestran la final de Wimbledon mens.

04/09/2025: Little courtesy and a very annoyed sales assistant, almost annoyed by our presence. The piadina wasn't bad and the prices were normal, but if I have to worry about coming back, I'll go elsewhere. What a shame.

05/11/2025: This restaurant truly deserves a Michelin star. The atmosphere is elegant yet warm and welcoming. I ordered steak, wine, and carbonara — every dish was exceptional: the steak perfectly cooked, the pasta creamy and balanced, and the wine beautifully paired. Special thanks to the waiter from Kosovo — professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. He made the evening unforgettable. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🍷🥩🇮🇹

05/11/2025: We had a lunch in this cafe. The pasta was cold, tea pots were cracked, they brought us a bottle but no glasses. The restaurant itself needs cleaning service especially rest rooms. When we were leaving they demanded more tips although they had already included them in the receipt.
