29/06/2025: Un posto per i turisti come mezza italiana sono stata molto delusa. Il tiramisù con panna invece di mascarpone. Il caprese la mozzarella quelli più duri per la pizza, insalata Cesare il pollo durissimo. La pasta poca pasta. Mai più!

26/07/2025: We stopped for a drink, ordered an iced peach tea and an orange granita. The granita was bland. The staff was very friendly, and it was cool inside, which was appreciated considering it was 35 degrees outside. The views of San Giovanni 😍

25/07/2025: Terrible. Definitely avoid. They give you plastic cups for drinks. They just throw the food from the freezer into the microwave. It looks cheap but when you see what you get to eat you realize it's expensive 😵‍💫🤢

28/07/2025: 25 euro for 2 Aperol. Maybe price for location but in restaurant next door got 4 Aperol for 20. I can understand food being expensive but these nightclub prices made me do this review 🤣

25/07/2025: Very tasty. But not cheap, especially the drinks. The atmosphere is great. Tips are not included in the bill, but when paying by card they "demand" 10, 20, or 30 percent of the check)

11/05/2025: Il locale offre la possibilità di mangiare in ogni momento e occasione della giornata colazione pranzo cena aperitivo pane pizza dolci sia in loco che take-away!.la qualità non è male ma i prezzi sono un po’ alti e per quello che riguarda il servizio in base a chi serve possono essere gentilissimi ma anche sgarbatissimi!

09/07/2025: Uno spritz, un gin tonic e un estathè 23,50€ accompagnati addirittura da un pugno di noccioline!! Ma io dico ..voglio anche pagare quello che ti pare ma ci vuole cosi tanto a comporre una specie di aperitivo?! Due patatine, due tarallini..niente quando proprio non c’è alcun interesse verso i clienti, una tristezza infinita! E a che prezzo poi..mai piu al bar di questo posto, avrei voluto poi mangiare li al ristorante ma alla fine ce ne siamo andati perché in piena estate una tristezza del genere mai vista! Abbassate sti prezzi che neanche sapete lavorare.

07/07/2025: Posto carino,pulito e giovanile purtroppo però la gestione è superficiale e incompetente. All'aperitivo serale domenicale,pieno di gente, bottiglie di prosecco calde e senza ghiaccio....neanche in Africa succedono queste cose.

20/04/2025: Ho acquistato un dolce che veniva menzionato come pastiera napoletana..pagata 25,00 euro circa 1 kg. Bè...ragazzi era una crostata con sapore e gusto di crema con addirittura cioccolata sul fondo....un dolce molto buono ma di pastiera napoletana neanche l'immagine...assurdo ne canditi ne arancia..nulla che assomigliasse lontanamente ad una pastiera ...se un napoletano l'avesse assaggiata penso che avremmo letto sui giornali la sua reazione ...consiglierei al pasticcere di fare un salto a Napoli e/o studiare meglio i dolci tipici prima di mettere un nome simbolo di una città straordinaria

20/04/2025: Ci vado da anni, ma mi dispiace è notevolmente peggiorato. Ho preso dei mignon per i bambini e molti erano pieni di alcool. Immangiabili anche per gli adulti.

10/06/2025: A year ago I would have recommended this place to anyone, but unfortunately I have to rewrite my review. Since the management changed, the quality of the food has gone down dramatically. What was once an excellent experience has now become a disappointment. I will not be returning.

17/07/2025: We bought a coffee and a water, were told we could sit outside, and then we were asked to leave. Very rude waitress.

16/07/2025: We stumbled across this cafe before a tour of the Colosseum. It was the best coffee we had in Rome during our 5 day stay. We returned for lunch enjoyed a sandwich with cool drink. Again same friendly service. The bonus was we sat and looked at the Colosseum and it was away from the crowds.

19/10/2024: Ho letto tante recensioni negative ma l’esperienza è stata molto positiva. Cibo buono e personale molto cortese. Eravamo in 12 ed i tempi di attesa sono stati brevi nonostante abbiamo scelto tanti piatti diversi. Nessuno ha dovuto attendere. Non capendo il motivo delle recensioni negative ho chiesto al titolare. Mi ha spiegato che è cambiata la gestione e che ha rilevato l’attività da poco più di 10 giorni. Consiglio pertanto di non prendere in considerazione le vecchie recensioni in quanto non hanno nulla a che vedere con la nuova gestione. Consigliato.

19/10/2024: Having dinner on a Saturday evening, with the new management, it was an excellent experience: tender and tasty steak, delicious rabbit, the starter was also very good, quite fast service, honest prices, very kind restaurateur: he offered us donuts. We will definitely be back!

19/05/2025: La mia recente esperienza al ristorante La Marinella si è rivelata decisamente deludente, soprattutto considerando i prezzi assolutamente esorbitanti praticati. Sedersi a tavola qui significa prepararsi a un conto salatissimo per piatti che, nella loro semplicità, non giustificano minimamente la spesa. Venti euro per un piatto di spaghetti alle vongole, un classico della cucina marinara senza alcuna particolarità degna di nota, mi è sembrato decisamente esagerato. La stessa sensazione l'ho provata di fronte al conto del sorbetto al limone (7 euro!), un dessert basico offerto a un prezzo da alta pasticceria. Ciliegina sulla torta, ulteriori 7 euro per il parcheggio. Sconsigliato.

26/03/2025: Localone enorme, popolare da evitare nei fine settimana, Cucina discreta ma non particolarmente attenta alla riuscita dei piatti. Prezzo superiore alla norma per il contesto complessivo. Servizio con personale molto "vintage" . Non è obbligatorio tornare, si trova facilmente di meglio.

26/06/2025: This restaurant claims to serve Italian cuisine, but frankly, nothing here resembles Italy. The dishes lack any authentic flavor; it's as if they've just put an Italian name on soulless recipes. Even in small Italian restaurants abroad, the food is better and with more respect for tradition. The prices are too high for what you get on your plate. And the service leaves something to be desired: little attention, no passion, just business. The spirit of Italy is quality, generosity, and respect for the customer. This place falls far short of that. Very disappointing. Avoid if you're looking for a true Italian experience.

20/05/2025: Avoid! The menus are only in Italian. The server stood next to me while I was choosing. I was asked three times what I ordered. I waited almost an hour for four pieces of dry, overcooked breaded chicken... In short, nothing is right at this restaurant.
