A renovated place, but still quaint. Everything is reasonably good except the porchetta, which, paradoxically, should be the restaurant's signature dish if you're thinking of visiting the Castelli Romani. A shame, don't order it.

A truly excellent place, except for the noisy customers, who, like me, love peace and quiet, but on Republic Day, packed with people all over our town, it was impossible to achieve. The business, managed by the professional owner-manager Paolo, and all the staff, were impeccable, precise, prompt, friendly, and ready to take on a very busy day, tasting every product and every person, beyond my wildest expectations. I had lunch at 12:30 and was out just after 1:30. The dishes were refined yet simple, immediate, and perfect. A virtual round of applause to the entire business, of which I leave ample testimony here. I will certainly be back to taste new dishes. Thank you, Paolo. Thank you, Castel Gandolfo. Thank you all. I spent 3 days at the lake with my family, and for 3 days I ate at their restaurant. Amazing buffalo mozzarella, homemade fried octopus, delicious with any sauce. Spectacular ravioli filled with boiled meat and cream cheese. Young, professional, and courteous staff. Well done, and congratulations! I've been in the restaurant business for 40 years.
