10/06/2025: My husband had a ragu and I had the carbonara which was rigatoni - it was excessively oily and had A LOT of parmesan. This was my first experience of "authentic" Italian food. I couldn't eat all of it because it was chewy undercooked pasta and far too oily and cheesey. I don't know if authentic Italian carbonara is supposed to be like this or not but I didn't particularly enjoy it. My husband really enjoyed his meal though and I had a lovely lemon sorbet for pudding though which was much needed as a palate cleanser after the oiliness of the main meal. I think if we visit again I won't have the carbonara. Staff also lingered around outside next to our table chatting loudly to each other while we were eating. I didn't like this as we wanted to relax and enjoy our evening, this also made me feel uncomfortable. It was as though they were watching to make sure we didn't leave without paying - which we would never do anyway.

15/05/2025: Mientras que en Roma encontramos este maravilloso restaurante a un paseo de nuestro hotel "La Gregoriana" y a una cuadra de la parte superior de la Plaza de España. Probamos pasta, pizza, ensaladas y Tiramisu que era maravilloso, y todos eran excelentes y a un precio razonable para esta zona de Roma. Muy bien decorado en el interior con un personal amable y cálido. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestras comidas allí.

10/05/2025: Petit restaurant de quartier proposant une bonne cuisine italienne traditionnelle y compris des Pizzas. Cadre sympathique et ancien. Service très agréable et efficace. Prix modérés.

15/03/2025: Notre hôtel ne proposait pas de petits déjeuners, nous avons trouvé cette adresse à proximité au top ! Grande variété, supers cafés, jus d oranges pressés. Très bon accueil, personnel sympathique, pas besoin de parler italien, on arrive à se comprendre! Prix pas excessifs, pas trop touristiques donc pas hyper fréquenté, un + pour bien commencer la journée!

02/07/2025: Exceptional restaurant led by Antonio and Eleonora in a wise, professional and friendly way. From the appetizers to the first courses of the "Roman tradition" everything is of an incredible level. I have a weakness for their amatriciana for the homemade pappardelle alla Carbonara or with white ragù or the legendary recipe aglio olio e peperoncino revisited in addition to the legendary meatballs in sauce brought in the endless triumph of appetizers. The meat is indisputably Crazy prepared on an elegant brazier clearly visible in the large room. The cellar is very well stocked as is the department dedicated to spirits where you can find whiskies from every corner of the world. The dessert side is very complete with always new additions of the day in addition to the artisanal ice cream. Beautiful and elegantly sober location suitable for lunches, dinners, even business and aperitifs as well as for private parties, ceremonies and birthdays. You feel at home spoiled and pampered by Antonio "Mito Assoluto" who has a thought for each of his customers and thanks to the fast, friendly and kind but above all efficient service. What can I say, it's been my favorite restaurant for 10 years. Very high rating with an academic kiss suitable for every situation. You will never be disappointed by the volcanic Antonio. Lola in Rome is absolutely the best you can find for raw materials used, ability to present the product, quality of the products, variety of choice, elegance, service and level of customers CHAPEAU

20/06/2025: Very nice location, it absolutely invites you to come in, but in my opinion the dishes were all very salty, inedible, the pasta dry, the egg in the carbonara liquefied, raw on the bottom of the plate, I'm sorry if it's always like this it means you don't know how to make Roman cuisine! If I have to be honest I have to suggest not going, I don't like to review like this because I know what it means to be a restaurateur but those who come to Rome and don't know must hear all the bells and whistles!

19/02/2025: Everything is good, be it pizza or tongs and the possibility of gluten-free is clearly an excellent thing, the flaw is the prices which in my opinion are a bit exaggerated, spending almost €90 for three in a pizzeria I think is exaggerated.

There is also a part more detached from the music to make it pleasant to be there for those who do not want too much noise. The only flaw perhaps prices a little too high for what is offered, but it is still an acceptable quality/price ratio

If you like polite welcome, instead of pseudo bouncers, this is not the place for you. For the rest, nothing to complain about. Nice atmosphere like a village festival but bring mosquito spray. Parking with free "donation" entrance.

18/05/2025: Kindness, cordiality and hospitality. We took the seafood menu for €35, FABULOUS!!! lots of appetizers, a first course of your choice and fried food! We then also tried the desserts..the crème caramel was spectacular!!!

29/06/2025: As a convinced lover of Neapolitan pizza, I must admit that I was a little skeptical... but the Pitty Village tongs made me change my mind with gusto! Light, digestible and above all prepared with top quality ingredients, they melt in your mouth and leave that feeling of "just one more bite and then that's it"... which obviously you never respect, because they are too good to stop! But it's not just a question of food: there is a Lady (yes, with a capital "M") who welcomes you and is the real added value of the place. Friendly, cheerful, attentive... she makes you feel more like a guest than a customer. A hostess like few others, capable of making every visit a little pleasure. In short, what can I say: I will definitely go back and this time maybe I will bring some friends too, so they will understand why I talk so much about the Pitty Village tongs! 😋🍕👏
