A historic restaurant in a delightful location. Excellent food, very friendly service, and good value. Definitely worth a try. In the warmer months, it's a lovely place for lunch because of the ambiance.

The food was quite good, the staff were friendly and helpful, but the wait was long. It's our fault, because Easter Monday shouldn't be a good time for lunch! Overall, though, a good experience in the countryside.

Il Grottino has a family atmosphere. It began as a trattoria in the early 1970s, where the surrounding area was mostly occupied by tuff quarries. I used to go there as a child, treating truck drivers and other workers. Today, with a more modern twist, the flavors remain as authentic and fresh as ever. The service is also excellent, fast and attentive to customers, always available to meet their needs. Thank you.

A truly special place surrounded by greenery, ideal for those seeking tranquility and good food. The dishes are simple but carefully prepared: excellent polenta, truly tasty fresh pasta, and perfectly cooked grilled meat. Generous portions and fair prices. The friendly staff and family atmosphere immediately put you at ease. I will definitely be back.

19/05/2026: Had an amazing experience. Staff was super friendly with language barrier. Would recommend them to anyone.
15/03/2026: A truly delicious pizza by the slice! One thing we really liked is that they also make round pizzas (they also make oval and larger ones) for takeout, and they're delicious, with a crispy crust similar to that of pizza by the slice. We had a diavola and a salsiccia e friarelli, both truly excellent and flavorful. Fair prices, and very friendly and professional staff. We'll definitely be back!

29/03/2026: Truly excellent Abruzzese food, many typical and traditional dishes, but also others revisited with a modern twist. Prices are high, but many dishes are worth it for the quality, such as the excellent arrosticini, lamb, cheese and egg balls, and the potato with charcoal crumble. The place is small, so reservations are recommended.
15/03/2026: Sheep in every way, with incredible flavors and slightly smaller portions that allow you to leave the table without the heavy feeling that often accompanies this type of cuisine. The menu is precise, not too long, but it leaves you wanting to return to try those two or three dishes you missed the first time.
