28/01/2026: A very nice and well-kept place. The cuisine is very good and well-prepared. Recommended for more intimate and quiet evenings. Excellent selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. I'll gladly return this spring/summer for drinks and food when the outdoor area opens.
02/01/2026: Turned up on a foggy night, both town and the bar half empty. Sat down being ignored for 10 mins, then a rude waitress ask whether we have habe been sat down or just get in. Apparently the table was booked, as well as all the other empty ones, we couldnt possibly stay. And got told off for sitting without asking, in a place that used to be a friendly, polite bar. Sorry dear Galera, this was my last visit. Also please fire that waitress if you at all care for customers.

21/01/2026: There was no menu, and they told me the dishes verbally. This is usually fine for a quick business lunch, but not for dinner. I would have liked to consult the menu and choose at my leisure. That said, their red wine is truly excellent, the carpaccio good, the rabbit too salty, and the portions meager. Nothing special for me, at least for what I ordered. Maybe it wasn't the right night.
03/11/2025: We had dinner on a Saturday in October with a variety of appetizers, from parmesan shavings to cured meats and fried mushrooms. The first course was tagliatelle with white truffle, the second course was cutlet and French fries, and the final course was gelato with berries.
The wine cellar was well-stocked, and the staff and table service were quick and helpful.
Everything was excellent, highly recommended.
Well done.

13/04/2026: The atmosphere may be a bit dated and traditional, but the service was fast, accurate, and professional. We ordered a trio of first courses, followed by lamb and mutton. Everything was excellent, and the portions were generous.
Quiet location amidst the Reggio Emilia hills, with a large parking lot adjacent to the restaurant.
10/04/2026: First time, highly recommended, varied and traditional menu, strozzapreti alla lusina, I think, delicious. Top sheep.

01/05/2026: We ate in this fantastic restaurant both for lunch and dinner for three days, delicious dishes, excellent pizza, friendly staff, and a very welcoming place.
17/01/2026: The owner is very friendly and helpful, the porcini and buffalo mozzarella pizza is excellent, and the wait staff is incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be back for the first and second courses. I highly recommend it.

07/03/2026: This company is well-known at the Thursday evening market in Rastignano. There's a small gazebo with a stall and the company's products. The erbazzone, focaccia, and corn crackers are all delicious. The guy at the stand isn't very salesy in my opinion, but the products are very good. Worth a try!

19/04/2026: My partner and I had dinner here with our 11-month-old baby.
They reserved a table for us so we could sit very comfortably.
I had a charcuterie board with gnocco and tigelle (all delicious), and my partner had a tagliata with mushrooms, which was incredible.
While my daughter was nibbling on bread, she dropped a lot of crumbs on the floor, and I apologize to the waiters for that.
We were extremely happy with everything. I can say it's a great place to stay; the place is very beautiful, the staff is very kind, and the service is excellent.

03/06/2026: The restaurant is meticulously maintained, down to the smallest details, as are the cuisine and wine selection. The welcome is informal, warm, and welcoming. Paola and Fausto run it impeccably in every way. You walk in and feel right at home! The food is excellent, with a wide but carefully selected selection, just like the wines. Their gnocco fritto, which must be folded and eaten with your hands, is unbeatable! The prices are reasonable, especially considering the excellent selection of ingredients and the fact that you won't leave hungry. You'll be full and pampered from appetizer to dessert!
31/03/2026: I went for dinner and the atmosphere was lovely. The restaurant is well-kept, as are the menu items. The service is attentive, and I appreciated the tranquility of the covered veranda, which wasn't crowded. The restaurant is centrally located, right next to the fortress, so you can dine overlooking the ancient walls of this historic monument.
You can park in front of the restaurant, or in the nearby square. The menu features traditional dishes like tortelli, as well as crostoni and cheese and cured meat platters. The attention to detail in the selection of dishes is commendable, but the portions are small.
