02/06/2025: I had a cappuccino (very good) and a bottle of water. I was served after the locals because I arrived before them. I sat on the terrace with a book. There was literally no one there. Not even 20 minutes after sitting down, when I hadn't finished my coffee and water, I was asked to leave to free up the terrace for two people even though there was room inside and also on the terrace by grouping the chairs. I find that very unfortunate because I would have liked to have lunch there and I was waiting for the rest of my family. The terrace is, however, very pretty.

12/05/2025: Food was overpriced for what we were served. Lasagne was nothing special despite what the price suggests. The tortellini in the broth was very salty which detracted from the broth flavour. The restaurant was very hot when we were there.

15/06/2025: Agriturismo Mastrosasso is now my fixed point for a nice Lucullan lunch on Sundays. Finding a place to eat an amazing Florentine steak. On various occasions I have had the opportunity to try first courses, appetizers and other second courses that are equally phenomenal, but the Florentine steak remains the reason why I come here on the hills to enjoy fabulous meat cooked to perfection. Then add the view, the conviviality, the kind, friendly and courteous staff, the excellent wine and you have bingo. Highly recommended.

08/06/2025: Spectacular first courses, highly recommended the tagliatelle with artichokes and pasta al torchio. Excellent grill, ribs and tagliata that melt in your mouth. The only flaw is the desserts, certainly excellent but the mascarpone and zuppa inglese were warm. Courteous and fairly accurate service. Beautiful location.

05/06/2025: Without fear of making a mistake, the best place in town to enjoy a "real" cutting board of quality products: first choice cold cuts, carefully produced and selected, with some treats such as mortadella with special ingredients. The rich and varied cutting boards are completed by an equally wide variety of exquisite cheeses and vegetables, to be accompanied with always fresh bread or focaccia. Good choice for vegetarians too. Really abundant quantities and at a more than fair price! Excellent selection of wines and beers, many craft. The owner Davide is very friendly and easy-going, available to guide you in your choice! What can I say? Highly recommended: try it and believe it!

07/05/2025: Sitting in this small cafe, I really arrived in Italy. Divine coffee and pistachio cornetto, which is not too sweet.

03/05/2025: It was my first cafe after arriving in Bologna and I immediately felt the Italian atmosphere. Despite a small faux-pas and ordering a caffe latte (it's a bit different than those known from Poland :)), the situation was saved by delicious stuffed croissants. An Italian sports newspaper left by someone only added to the charm. The service at the place deserves special mention, as it exuded incredible warmth and cordiality. I really heartily recommend it! :)

14/06/2025: Osteria Angolo degli Orefici, located at the charming Via degli Artieri 1G in the historic Quadrilatero, just steps from Piazza Maggiore, offers authentic Bolognese cuisine in a cozy atmosphere with brick walls and nostalgic decor. The outdoor area would actually be very cozy, were it not for the fact that Bologna's garbage disposal is right next door. Unfortunately, this leads to odor and acoustic pollution, which isn't really conducive to a cozy dinner. The food is fine, and the prices are fair. The portions aren't particularly large, but that means you can hold off until the delicious dessert, such as panna cotta with strawberry sauce. The menu includes classics such as lasagna, tagliatelle al ragù, tortellini, delicious antipasti, and local charcuterie and cheese platters – all complemented by local wines. The host was also very generous with refilling our drinks, which is truly generous.
