27/07/2025: July 2025 birthday party. Beautiful setting with 4D indoor and outdoor dining rooms, all of them, especially the indoor ones, furnished in a simple yet elegant way. Tables were fully set, giving a sense of order and prompt service. The food was generously portioned, with the first courses truly excellent and the second courses were good, grilled meats. The only thing that could be improved was that the arrosticini, cooked a little less, would have been excellent because you could taste the meat was good. The owner's willingness to accommodate different needs is commendable, from the dinner courses to the preparation of birthday decorations, to even accepting the birthday girl's personal cake and accompanying sparkling wine and Malvasia.
The wait staff was very good.
The dining room filled up quickly, and we had booked, and everything was fine.
23/07/2025: While on vacation in the area, I booked a two-night stay. The room was simply magnificent and very spacious, and we were able to try the cuisine. It was simply a very, very good place.
Very good cuisine.
The linguine with clams and the seafood spaghetti were very good.
The best, in our opinion, will remain the San Pietro penne, so good.

06/08/2025: If you really want to learn how to make pasta the right way, this class is a must.
I spent two amazing weeks in Bologna, fully focused on making pasta, with the help of Alexandra and Lucia, who are both incredibly passionate and knowledgeable. From the very beginning, they gave me their full attention, teaching with great energy, hands-on practice, and helpful feedback every step of the way.
This was much more than just a cooking class—it felt like a real apprenticeship. Making pasta dough by hand in the traditional way was challenging, especially at first, but thanks to their patience and expert teaching, I slowly built up my confidence and skills. This class wasn’t about shortcuts or surface-level learning. It was about really understanding the process and learning how to make pasta from scratch the right way.
The lessons covered a wide variety of pasta. We started with fresh tagliatelle and moved on to stuffed pastas like tortelloni, balanzoni, mezzelune, triangoli, and their own original creation, bombette (which was seriously delicious). Each type had its own technique and style. Since it was a one-on-one class, everything was adjusted to my speed and progress, which made the learning experience even more rewarding.
What I appreciated most was that Alexandra and Lucia were not only warm, fun, and easy to be around—they were also honest and clear when teaching. This wasn’t the kind of class where you only get compliments. They pointed out my mistakes without hesitation, and I’m truly thankful for that. Their high standards and strong commitment to quality really helped me improve. I left the class with solid skills and the confidence to make pasta on my own.
And one last thing—the tortellini in brodo they made for me? It was by far the best dish I had during my whole stay in Bologna. A perfect bowl filled with tradition, technique, and love.

23/08/2025: We've been here twice and were absolutely satisfied both times. You can feast and try all sorts of things here. There's also a solid selection of beer, wine, and sparkling wine. The lardo sandwich is a must. The cold cuts are excellent, and the wild boar goulash was also delicious! We'd love to come back.
23/08/2025: We knew this place was busier with tourists than locals so we didn't expect such good quality or variety.
We love some good taglieri, but the meats were exceptional, the cheeses were nicely varied with some fun varieties, the portion was good, the bread generous. The plates have a really nice amount of acidic balance due to fruit, condiments, olives, etc... and this really makes the plate. It's busy but it moves reasonably fast and the casual atmosphere is enjoyable.
We hope we get to return someday!

26/08/2025: A very well-maintained restaurant with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The seafood dishes were excellent; there were six of us and everyone was satisfied. The desserts were also very good.
23/08/2025: We stopped by one evening and booked five minutes in advance, finding the staff helpful and friendly. The dishes looked inviting and tasted delicious; the pasta is handmade, the fish is fresh, and the location is strategic, close to the spa and other hotels. Excellent!

Buone ma speravo meglio e porzioni piccole. Venticello che ti aiuta a riprenderti dai 40 gradi di Bologna. Prezzi buoni. Conviene prenotare è sempre pienissimo
23/07/2025: D’estate è un vero piacere salire per mangiare in questo posto. Ha tavoli all’interno e all’aperto, è pet friendly e il personale è gentilissimo. I prezzi sono onesti e il cibo semplice e buono, veramente bolognese. Crescentine ottime e abbondanti. Consigliatissimo.

23/08/2025: A great place in the center of Bologna to enjoy a good glass of wine, given the wide selection. Excellent selection of dishes and cured meats.
15/08/2025: We cycled 1,500km through Italy, and nowhere were we treated more arrogantly and poorly than here!
We arrived at the restaurant in the evening and were immediately assigned a table for two. We hadn't even properly seen the space yet, and as soon as we sat down, we noticed that there was another table for two available at the other end of the room, surrounded by wine bottles, which we liked much better. It was also very loud in our area; the radio was playing at full volume, and at the next table, three people were on their phones with speakerphones, which we didn't want to do. I asked the waiter in Italian (the manager had apparently let us in) if it would be okay if we sat at the other table. He said, "Sure, no problem!" and we moved. As we were already seated, the manager stormed over to us, angrily waving his hands, and said something like, "Sorry, I guess what I picked wasn't good enough for you." He apparently couldn't bear the fact that we hadn't stayed there on his recommendation. After that, he didn't even look at us again. The younger waiter came over, served us in English, dismissed all our inquiries with a piqued and dismissive look, and simply blocked all our attempts to elicit any kind of recommendation or better advice from him. When we asked for a velvety, full-bodied red wine, he looked at us as if it were an insult. The wine arrived, but there was no further request. When the manager had to walk past us, he deliberately looked away. We actually wanted to buy some more wine, but the whole atmosphere was so unpleasant and dismissive; we also had the feeling that only friendly conversations were being had with locals and that, as tourists, we were already out of the question.
A day later, we went to another enoteca, where we received very friendly advice. We chatted with the owner for half an hour about our bike trip and bought a fantastic wine.
Enoteca Italiana will remain a negative memory for a long time!

30/08/2025: Lunch on a weekday, so it wasn't crowded. Very kind and friendly staff served excellently cooked, quality food.
We ordered: 2 tagliatelle with wild boar, 1 generous Tuscan appetizer, 1 generous mixed rosticciata, fried rabbit + various side dishes, wine, water, homemade crescenta, 1 house dessert, coffee = approximately €95.
We'll be back, even though it's a bit out of the way, but close enough to the Boccadirio Sanctuary.
28/08/2025: Everything was delicious and authentic! Highly recommended if you want to escape your daily routine and enjoy some excellent food!

02/09/2025: Saturday evening, we arrived around 9:15 PM, and the place was quite busy.
I took my order and the drinks arrived almost immediately, but I waited almost an hour for the pizza, which was a bit too long, even though I understand everyone orders pizza.
The waiters were nowhere to be seen the entire time. I wanted to order another drink, but by then I'd finished eating. (A table of four arrived around 10:20 PM, and the pizzas were served after 10 minutes; by then, everyone else was eating.)
Friendly staff.
I'll be back because the pizza is worth it.

21/06/2025: Came across this restaurant on maps as it was a short walk from where we were staying in Bologna. After reading the great reviews, I was confident we’d made a good choice, and indeed we had. The tagliatelle bolognese was amazing and as was the lasagne. Reasonably priced and nice atmosphere in the restaurant. I had the semi freddo type of dessert (can’t remember exactly what it was) but this was really yummy. The staff were lovely as well.
19/06/2025: What a lovely meal. The restaurant was small and comfortably lit and decorated. The atmosphere was the perfect setting for an authentic Bolognese meal. The dishes were sized appropriately and the flavor was astounding. Highly recommend this restaurant for a pleasant night out in town.

The menu offers typical local dishes, ranging from tortelli to sliced meat, all the way to delicious homemade desserts. The service is courteous and efficient, and the price varies depending on the type of dish chosen. For example: tortello with porcini mushrooms, sliced fillet steak with truffle, roast potatoes, and dessert (water and cover charge) €43.
19/08/2025: Excellent trattoria with typical Bolognese dishes, excellent porcini mushrooms. They work in shifts, we only found a seat during the second shift on Sunday. They seated us around 2:30 PM and we got up at 4 PM! Practically for a snack. The place was full of families and groups of all ages. Everything was very good and reasonably priced. We only had two appetizers, including porcini mushrooms, some first courses also with porcini mushrooms 🍄🟫, and desserts. With water and beers, it cost about €20 per person.
