05/06/2025: I went there on June 2nd for my daughter's communion the first time without ever having tried and seeing the restaurant I went on the trust of hearsay! It was a pleasant discovery the lunch was all wonderfully good from the tagliatelle to the cotoletta alla bolognese excellent service and the Owner Stefania super!!!! I couldn't have chosen a better location than the Cantina del Latte

23/05/2025: I have been to this restaurant several times, including for birthday celebrations. The food is good but certainly nothing special. They have the usual local dishes. Lately, however, I have noticed that the service is slow. Probably when the place is full they go haywire and cannot handle so many tables.

18/04/2025: It's a shame that I only discovered this place now. The sandwiches are excellent, among the best I've ever eaten.

13/04/2025: Intrigued by the place, we decided to book a table for 4. We ordered 4 burgers and beers (the ones we had chosen were not there). The order was placed at around 9.30pm and we spent 90 euros. The beers arrive immediately. Half an hour passes: no hamburger. 1 hour passes: no hamburger. We ask why the delay and, after apologizing, they tell us that they are a little late with the orders and they bring us a small glass of snacks as an aperitif, so we continued to wait. After another quarter of an hour the burgers arrived, two of which were wild boar which were almost completely RAW inside. I ask the waitress if in her opinion the hamburger was cooked or raw and the girl replies "I see it as raw" and leaves. I ask another waiter if they usually cook meat that way and I show him the hamburger. The waiter takes it and takes it to the kitchen, then returns, apologizes and says they will redo the dish. Then another 10 minutes pass. The new hamburger arrives, this time cooked. We hope, at this point, that we have not contracted any bacteria or parasites since we have eaten some of them. 90 euros. Unfortunately we won't be going back again. I am sorry.

01/06/2025: The food was delicious, perfectly seasoned, the octopus was perfectly grilled, the toasted bread was perfectly grilled with the addition of squid (good portion). The pasta in tomato sauce and with octopus was delicious. The very attentive and pleasant waiter, Cristian, ensured that we had a very nice evening. We will be happy to come back here.

31/05/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant and I must say that I found everything perfect, the service was kind and fast, the environment simple and well-kept with the possibility of dining outside, I really liked the food, from the cold cuts (mixed plate of cold cuts with tigelle) to the first courses (tagliolini with seasonal mushrooms) not to mention the dessert (goat ricotta and caramel), they also have a wide selection of wines. At the end of the service they also gave us information about the area, I really appreciated the availability! Thank you. See you next time

27/06/2025: Discovered by chance for my celiac daughter. All the pizzas are delicious. Crispy, tasty and light dough. Place perfectly organized to avoid environmental contamination. Professional and prepared staff as well as very kind, friendly and affable. Take-away pizzas but you can also eat at the table without service. Everything you need to set the table is provided. Absolutely to try and try again.

21/06/2025: Came across this restaurant on maps as it was a short walk from where we were staying in Bologna. After reading the great reviews, I was confident we’d made a good choice, and indeed we had. The tagliatelle bolognese was amazing and as was the lasagne. Reasonably priced and nice atmosphere in the restaurant. I had the semi freddo type of dessert (can’t remember exactly what it was) but this was really yummy. The staff were lovely as well.

19/06/2025: What a lovely meal. The restaurant was small and comfortably lit and decorated. The atmosphere was the perfect setting for an authentic Bolognese meal. The dishes were sized appropriately and the flavor was astounding. Highly recommend this restaurant for a pleasant night out in town.

25/04/2025: Ho scelto il menù degustazione da sette portate, La Spudorata, e l’ho abbinato al percorso di vini suggerito. Ogni piatto è arrivato con tempismo perfetto, ben raccontato e ancora meglio eseguito. La cucina dello chef Annunziata è tecnica ma mai fredda: c’è gusto, personalità e una mano sicura che non cerca mai di stupire per forza. Il piatto che mi è rimasto nel cuore è stato il risotto al limone con gambero rosso – profumato, elegante, con una freschezza che non mi aspettavo. Anche il piccione, spesso difficile da rendere interessante, è stato una vera scoperta: cottura impeccabile e abbinamenti saporiti ma equilibrati. Il servizio è stato all’altezza dell’ambiente. Il personale è professionale, molto attento, ma non freddo come temevo: mi sono sentita accolta con discrezione e rispetto. Una menzione speciale va al sommelier, che è riuscito a trasmettere passione senza mai risultare invadente. Ogni vino è stato spiegato con cura, e gli abbinamenti erano davvero azzeccati. La serata è filata via con armonia, tra piatti ben calibrati, silenzi piacevoli e qualche parola sussurrata tra un boccone e l’altro. È un luogo che invita a rallentare, a godersi il tempo, i sapori, i dettagli. Se cercate un’esperienza gastronomica raffinata, senza eccessi, ma con tanta sostanza, I Portici è una scelta eccellente. Io ci tornerei domani.

12/04/2025: What a taste bombs! Everything was perfect. Very friendly and smooth service, everything was put on the table synchronously regardless of the number of people. We had chosen the matching wines and it is really recommended.

23/06/2025: Baracca e Burattini is a homey and delightful atmosphere that is tucked away from the usual tourist crowds. I arrived before my other two roommates and was first seated in the bar area which was filled with locals speaking Italian and enjoying drinks. The bar area also contained a couch with chairs which was different from any other bars I’ve seen and reminded me of the cafe in the show Friends due to the resemblance. After my roommates came and the server came over, we realized we were in the wrong section since there was a separate back section for food. The back room that the server brought us to was cozy and warmly lit. The decor on the walls of the paintings felt very homey along with the brick walls: What made the atmosphere complete was the calm beach music that was played at a comfortable volume that made us feel at ease while still being able to communicate with one another. When ordering, the server was very polite and always had a warm smile on her face. What amazed us about the service was that she didn’t treat us like tourists, but just like any other person in the restaurant, even though we were the only people speaking English at the time of arrival. The food of the restaurant felt very thought out and prepared distinctly. There is a note on the menu that reads that you may need to be prepared for long waits to keep the food authentic, which shows that they care about the quality of their food. I ordered the tortellini in a creamy parmesan sauce which was decadent yet balanced. I had not eaten much before and the portion size felt perfect. The appetizer we ordered came out with our food yet strangely felt more like a dessert. It was a cheese-filled donut roll that oozed upon taking a bite. The roll was topped with arugula, honey, and balsamic. It was very different than anything I have ordered here in Italy and enjoyed trying something new. The Campari spritz that I ordered with my meal was too bitter for my taste, but that may just be my personal preference since it was my first time trying it. The Instagram account of the restaurant displays a homey atmosphere, with a slightly modern twist. The Instagram shows that the people working in the restaurant show great pride in their food. The experience overall made me appreciate the quietly elegant food culture and I would visit this restaurant again.

20/06/2025: I loved it. It's a clean place with a good, homey atmosphere. The food is excellent and the prices are fair. The service is excellent. You can split the bill among your group, jointly or individually. From the outside, you can't tell how big it is inside. I recommend it.

16/06/2025: A rather steep bill, which is a shame because the place is nice. We had a table near the road, so it was quite noisy. The pizzas are generous and reasonably priced. I asked for capers on my pizza, and they even charged for them! A bit mean, I think. However, they make up for it with the drinks! A half pint of beer costs 8 euros, as much as a pizza. And the coperto, which is no longer mandatory in Italy, costs 9 euros for 3 people! I won't be keeping this place for 9 euros!

15/06/2025: Best pizzas ever! We ordered a Ciciliana and a Capriciosa for pickup and both were amazing. Very friendly staff and I am looking forward to be in the area again to try more things from their menu.

25/06/2025: Absolutely recommended at this time of year because you can eat in the shade of the many trees The tigelle and crescentine are really very tasty, as is the variety of first courses and desserts. Absolutely recommended

23/06/2025: Absurd when paying: the lady with absolute ease: "who pays by card 27€, in cash 25€" and obviously zero receipts. For this reason alone, strongly discouraged. We will not return. The place was full: they can't say they struggle. Failed!
