This ancient Bolognese tavern, once a post station in the late 19th century, retains all its historic charm, thanks in part to the precious collections of objects displayed throughout the rooms. The atmosphere is a truly captivating journey back in time.
The menu, rich in fresh pasta and succulent Bolognese delicacies, is also very interesting. The cotoletta petroniana is a must-try: the best!!!

Beautiful, but I need to reconsider my manners.
The atmosphere is wonderful: you're immersed in the wine bar, surrounded by objects from the past, like old signs and payphones. The Petroniana was a bit small, but it tasted good. The tagliatelle with meat sauce was good.
I'm 47, and the 25-30-year-old waiter who addresses me informally makes me feel young, and that's understandable. However, the young employees address people in their 60s and 65s informally...I find this disrespectful and rude! What a shame!

We discovered this place by chance while we were traveling. The decor is unique, welcoming, and spread across two floors. The food was all good and very flavorful. We ordered the passatelli with radicchio and guanciale and the cotoletta alla Petroniana. What struck us most was the young man who served us (Mattia, I think) and the quality of his service: fast, kind, and friendly, but not intrusive. He explained the dishes well, adding a few amusing anecdotes. The kind of service that makes all the difference and keeps you coming back! Unfortunately, I'm far away, but I recommend it to everyone 😊
