15/06/2025: We lunched here en route across Italy, planning the route to revisit this facility. Great charcuterie and salad, but the bread was definitely not up to the mark. Overall OK, but not as good as we recalled.

13/06/2025: Restaurant recently reopened after a long renovation post-earthquake in 2016. The quality of the food is excellent! The ham served melts in your mouth and a hand slicer is used to cut it. The restaurant offers two versions of truffle: the winter one (more prized) and the summer scorzone. The service was impeccable, the guys are very friendly and ready to give excellent advice. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended! The owner also told us that they have rooms and a SPA available now. A good excuse to come back

24/06/2025: I returned to this restaurant after only 8 days from the first time I tried it, and also the second time EVERYTHING went very well, amberjack tartare (spectacular) and really delicious cod. ...and then we also found a welcoming, friendly environment with very friendly staff. I promised Mrs. Marzia that next time I have to try their Gin too. Highly recommended!!

09/06/2025: I visited this authentic little Italian place with my partner and two of my friends. We ordered a mortadella pesto and a salami fig salsas panini. The flavours just exploded in our mouths, the ingredients were delicious also separately and very fresh. The lady who prepared the food was very kind. I highly recommend this place.

26/06/2025: Really nice little place, very kind staff, both the lady and the pizza chef 🍕 They created a nice and pleasant environment, a buffet of vegetables, omelettes and tasty things, then there is also pizza cooked express. I chose the anchovy and caper pizza, perfectly cooked. Ideal for a lunch break even alone. Well done, compliments 👏🏼 I went there in the summer, but the lady told me that their specialty is soups that they obviously serve in the winter!

02/06/2025: What can I say… finally a truly typical trattoria, welcoming but, a family welcome that makes you feel immediately at ease with a well-furnished place, a terrace with a wonderful view. Healthy cuisine, expertly cared for in flavors and tradition, simple and high quality. Finally a restaurateur capable of making a crème caramel (TRUE) as God commands. Honest prices in an era where too many give themselves useless airs without offering true quality. Thanks and absolutely see you next time Francesco and Stefania, Salò (Bs)

18/06/2025: A perfect evening on the casual terrace with views of the valley down to the sea. The service was personal, and the set menu had one delicious dish follow another - we had to roll down the hill home. Can’t wait to return.

11/06/2025: On Saturday 7th June, returning from Sicily to Rome, we asked IA for a place to have lunch. Being close to Altomonte, they recommended Zio Pierino. We called before leaving the motorway because we thought they had already closed the kitchen, but instead they waited for our arrival. A festive welcome and excellent hospitality. The tasty home cooking. It seemed like we had returned to the 70s. A must-visit when passing through Altomonte

27/06/2025: In the Archeopark, the Stone Age is presented so vividly that even Ötzi would shake his head in amazement – ​​not at the climate, but at the people in sandals on authentic clay soil. The original reconstructions are based on finds from the surrounding area and show how our ancestors lived, hunted, and made fire 7,000 years ago. Anyone who doesn't throw a spear here hasn't understood the message. And while children excitedly romp through the stilt houses, some quietly wonder how they managed to build it all without a building permit. A trip into the past with astonishingly modern craftsmanship.

27/06/2025: Trip with a group of children and teenagers. Excellent staff and very prepared. Entertainment and engaging explanations for everyone. Highly recommended!

09/06/2025: Mini mini pizzas de varios sabores pero con lo que puedes comer por ahí nada del otro mundo. Mesas pequeñas y alguna en rapa y sillas algo incómodas Como en toda Italia, suplementos por toooooooodoooo. Comimos también como unas bolas rebozadas de pasta, que vaya, para comer una era peculiar. No volvería, creo que hay sitios donde se come mejor y en proporción pagas menos

08/06/2025: Pizza was delicious, staff was very friendly and helpful, and prices were great. This was one of the few places we ate at in Rome where we didn't get swindled! Would highly recommend - eat in or carry out.

30/06/2025: It is in fact a self-service, not too large (in this period people come in droves) but it has a wide variety of ready meals (everything we consumed was good), drinks, desserts and coffee: in the reality of Assisi, a good solution, relatively cheap.
