29/08/2025: We chose this restaurant from among the many in Ortigia and were delighted with the quality and deliciousness of the ingredients, and therefore the dishes. The caponata was excellent, truly excellent, with a very unique recipe: raisins and pine nuts in a triumph of Sicilian style. The staff, consisting of two sisters in the dining room (the third in the kitchen), is very friendly and approachable. They make you feel at home and offer plenty of advice. The fish is fresh. We have some concerns about the desserts, which look beautiful but are actually quite lacking, and the surrounding atmosphere (we practically ate dinner on the sidewalk). Overall, a highly recommended option for lunch or dinner on the beautiful island of Ortigia.

31/08/2025: A real surprise. Chosen by chance on the way back from a long trip... we had a very pleasant surprise. Excellent food, carefully prepared and served with passion. Good craft beer and excellent rosolios. A place we've added to our list of osterias we absolutely must return to.

11/09/2025: A truly beautiful agriturismo, with a fantastic restaurant and delicious food. The staff are also very friendly. The mountain road leading up to it is interesting, but once you're there, you won't want to leave. The room was also fantastic!

07/09/2025: Beautiful panoramic location, chances of seeing some animals (alpacas, sheep, oxen), good food, and farm-style service, meaning that, unless you reserve a table for lunch inside, you'll have to find a seat. The food is a bit too gourmet for the setting; one would normally expect more traditional local cuisine and more reasonable prices. Suitable for all tastes, but be aware that you'll spend a little more.

01/09/2025: A very welcoming place with Lucrezia's smile, and Daniele at the table recommending dishes to guests. We trusted him with the choice of dishes. The first courses were delicious: "Pasta nera" (with squid ink and fish) and the pizza with pumpkin, porcini mushrooms, and salami. Everything was delicious. Kudos to the entire staff at Osteria Gabossi! I recommend it to anyone visiting Boario Terme.

27/08/2025: We booked at 9:30, the first course arrived at 10:15, and the second course arrived an hour later. It was an exhausting wait, enough to make us fall asleep at the table. The service was confusing and disorganized. The food was nothing special, and the prices were decidedly high: €20 for a calamari skewer (one of a kind) with some vegetables on the side.

14/09/2025: Intrigued by the sign on the front door, which clearly states that meat is the main course, we decide to go in. Initially a little unsure about our ability to potentially eat large quantities of meat, our doubts are quickly dispelled by the explanations of the very kind staff. We decide to order two different types of fillets, both expertly prepared and simply delicious. As are the side dishes, and the wine recommended by the staff. The dessert and coffee are also excellent. A very welcoming atmosphere, friendly and impeccable service, a restaurant definitely worth a visit, and one we hope to return to soon.

14/09/2025: If you want a Chianina steak, this is the place! A steak to remember and want to have again. Amazing wine selection, amazing side dishes, but the star is the steak! Looking forward to coming back again. Mille grazie, alla prossima volta!

04/09/2025: Excellent food, well-crafted tasting menu, and quality wine pairings. The staff were professional, even though I was in a hurry and pressed them for time, but they were kind and helpful.

01/09/2025: Everything was beautiful and delicious. The only downside was the wait. It was too long. We sat down at 8:30 PM, the appetizers arrived at 9:15 PM, and the main courses at 10:20 PM. Too long for us. The fish was very fresh and the dishes were high-quality, but I would improve the kitchen's timing.

03/09/2025: In the atmosphere... friendly staff, guaranteed food at very fair prices... I'll be back... when I can book... yes... that's the only sore point... you have to book well in advance... especially for Saturdays and Sundays.

14/09/2025: We started with the appetizer of the day, fried porcini mushrooms, which were quite good. The real surprises were the first courses: tagliolini with crab and tagliolini with shrimp and zucchini. These dishes were truly excellent, both in quality and in the generous portions and originality of the preparations. A seafood restaurant definitely worth recommending. The raspberry tiramisu was also very good.
