29/10/2025: Cibus is a guarantee! I've been going to this restaurant for years and I'm surprised I've never left a review.
Cibus is the kind of restaurant you always want to return to because you'll rarely eat the same dish twice. The menu changes regularly, with dishes influenced by multiple cultures; always perfectly balanced.
The dining room is managed with equal attention by the owner, who leaves no detail to chance.
Here, you'll feel pampered.

Weekends are busy so make sure to make a reservation.

28/10/2025: Food was tasty, but tiny portions — we ended up going to a pizza place after to feel satisfied. Service was subpar — they gave more attention to tables that ordered wine than our table. Maybe that’s a Tuscany thing ¯\_(ツ)_/ also €3 cover per person adds up to more than a 20% tip … for terrible service!

17/10/2025: We came to this restaurant in August with our family. The owner sat us on the terrace and gave us a very warm welcome. It had been a long time since we had eaten so well. It was excellent. A big thank you. I regret not having found this restaurant before (we only saw it at the end of our stay) much better than many other restaurants in Viareggio and the owner is very friendly.

15/10/2025: Amazing pan pizza! Super light dough, rotating with special flours (whole wheat rye, hemp, buckwheat, burnt wheat, etc.) and very interesting toppings with seasonal vegetables grown by them! The guys are super kind.

15/10/2025: The celebration for my daughter's wedding was held at Baglio Borgesati in September and I need to say that everything was simply wonderful. Great place, great atmosphere, perfect and super-professional service, great food. They took care of all details and nothing went wrong. All guests were happy and appreciated each little thing. A special thanks to Stefano, the head of the service for our wedding, who was simply unbelievable in making sure everything went well.

20/09/2025: Fresh fish and plenty of variety. We tried the mixed gratin and the mantis shrimp (amazing). Two first courses, one of which was the calamarata: spectacular. We didn't order dessert, but only because we ran out of strudel. Fair prices. Thank you.
