25/06/2025: We fell in love with this place at first sight and chose it as our wedding venue. From the very beginning, the owner was very pleasant and helpful, everything was as we had agreed and he was willing to accommodate all our requests. The whole place is in a quiet location with beautiful views. Beautiful accommodation and restaurant, where you can feel a piece of Tuscan history. Amazingly high-quality wines from their own production. We will definitely come back here and we are glad that we could say our yes here, in the heart of Chianti.

12/06/2025: TAVERNA GRANDE ALBERO is a charming little spot in Catania—perfect for a relaxed lunch. The food was delicious, the drinks were spot on, and the service was warm and attentive. A true Sicilian gem ! Best place that we have eaten at in Sicily. Highly recommended.

11/06/2025: A good restaurant, with expertly prepared local dishes, the fantastic Sicilian cuisine is certainly well interpreted. Maybe they should work a little more on customer care, a smile, a joke with customers, it doesn't hurt. True that it is not on the menu but it really doesn't hurt.

22/05/2025: On the occasion of the lunch reserved for Under 35s that the Berton restaurant offers every Saturday, we decided to come and try the chef's cuisine. The tasting menu includes five courses, the pairing of two glasses of wine and soft drinks for €95 per person. The service was impeccable and up to the expectations of those who choose to come and eat in a starred restaurant. I particularly appreciated the opening dish: the roasted scallop served with snow peas and white wine and pink pepper sauce. In my opinion, the dishes on the menu are each better than the other, with refined combinations that are always aimed at generating surprise. An example could be the kiwi in red wine in the fourth course: at first glance you are not led to think that next to the glazed pig there is actually a kiwi. The mise en place is minimal, but at the same time extremely neat and clean. At the end of the lunch, we were invited into the kitchen to meet and greet Chef Berton: a great honor and a pleasant surprise that we did not expect.

17/06/2025: Discovered by chance, 100 meters from the structure where we are staying. Genuine food and kindness, both from the managers and from the neighboring diners at the table, locals, who gave us good advice and courtesy. There were four of us, we had busiate with pesto trapanese and alla norcina, a mega one kilo steak of scotto a (which we shared) and a mixed salad, for dessert cassatelle, drinks, water, bitter offered by the manager, all very good, 80 euros in total. We will be back!

15/06/2025: Very tasty food, the pasta was divine, as was the bruschetta. The cannolo was the best we ate in all of Sicily. The prices are very affordable so it is a restaurant not to be missed, 5 stars!

22/06/2025: This restaurant was absolutely wonderful, I would give it more stars if I could. Walter was brilliant, very attentive and friendly and made some great recommendations for our meal. We had the goats cheese and honey to start and for mains we had the sliced beef and the Gorgonzola gnocchi. All the food was beautifully cooked, came out on time but not rushed and we enjoyed it all. The restaurant is a lovely setting, authentic and warm. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Florence.

22/06/2025: I just had a top 5 pasta meal of my life. I had the pici pasta with white beef sauce, and it was absolutely amazing. The wife cooks and the husband serves. I am here for 3 nights and I plan on returning. Highly recommend.

11/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante ieri sera ed è stata una splendida cena abbiamo mangiato benissimo e siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e simpatia. Silvia è una ragazza stupenda la recensione sotto non è neanche da valutare perché uno non può pretendere di trovare posto a Gallipoli prenotando mezz'ora prima e per di più alle 22 c'erano già tavoli vuoti ed è arrivata altra gente a mangiare. Bisogna portare rispetto per la gente che lavora bene. Ci sono rimasto male io x Silvia a leggere la recensione sotto. Detto questo se siete a Gallipoli andate a Santa Monaca verrete coccolati dall'inizio alla fine.

10/06/2025: È un ristorante molto carino vista mare. Ha un gazebo dove potere pranzare e cenare che protegge sia dal sole che dall'umidità. Silvia è una persona squisita. È molto preparata e ama il suo lavoro. Lo chef è uscito a salutarci e gli abbiamo fatto i complimenti per il buonissimo antipasto e per i tagliolini allo scorfano preparati al momento. Abbiamo potuto vedere e scegliere il nostro pesce. La cantina è ben fornita. Torneremo presto ad assaggiare altre prelibatezze insieme ad amici.

15/06/2025: The place is very characteristic in the center of the town, to get there a little difficult you have to walk a bit, the food very delicate but very good, compliments to the chef, the service more than positive, the meter very expert in displaying the dishes and very joking, more than positive as a first experience, I can not indicate the price as I was at a birthday party, but for what we ate I think it can easily exceed 50.00 euros per person, but it is worth it, since you eat very well.
