Osteria Miranda In Lucca

The food at Osteria Miranda is truly delicious, with original and delicious combinations! Unfortunately, the only downside was the service. We were a slightly larger table, and the waiter asked us to order identical dishes, but given the vastness and deliciousness of the menu, we didn't. His reaction wasn't very polite, with plenty of ironic jokes, well... no way! Despite this, we had a lovely evening, and it's a place I recommend.

An elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. We opted for the chef's suggested menu: a succession of delightful discoveries and excellent products. A coherent gastronomic journey, yet one that's open to the needs of each guest. The tartare is sublime, the meatballs a touch of the heart. An experience that expands and enriches you. Hats off.

I'd like to start this review by pointing out that stopping for lunch (with my wife) completely left my culinary comfort zone. Having reached Lucca a bit late due to traffic in the Apennines, we decided to stop at Miranda for lunch on May 2nd. The restaurant is truly refined, clean, and conveniently located near the city walls. The wait staff is knowledgeable and always available to offer suggestions based on your needs. A special mention goes to the young woman who looked after us (blonde waitress, blue eyes... I don't know her name!!!). She was always nice, kind, and professional in explaining the dishes we'd be tasting. It was an excellent experience, but not without its flaws. Prices are high here, so I recommend looking at the menus; we chose Verdena. Another small flaw, in my humble opinion, is the lack of a glass of wine on the menu. It would have made each dish more unique. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Congratulations.

Good restaurant where we had lunch on April 25th

Expecting a regular trattoria experience, we were very pleased ! We had the tasting menu and it was a wonderful way to sample dishes available "à la carte". They also had a vegetarian option which was also very tempting. We are lucky enough to live in Lucca and we will return without a doubt. Next time we will go with a typical menu and full courses. A must !

If you ever find yourself in Lucca, I recommend Miranda for lunch. I tried the vegetarian tasting menu and was extremely satisfied. From the seasonal cream soup to the creamy risotto, to the egg with asparagus and the pinwheels. Everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. We finished with a bang with cream puffs and red fruit panna cotta.

A truly unique place. Courtesy and hospitality complement the well-measured and tastefully presented dishes. It will be a regular stop on my next visits to Lucca. I recommend it to everyone.

We left the place three hours ago and my fiancee is still talking about the best olive oil she ever had. That’s a small funny side story bringing me to the point of saying that this Osteria is a true marvel when it comes to fresh local food, service and atmosphere.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, which left us completely speechless. Anyone passing through or living in the area simply must try it. The atmosphere is intimate, refined, and welcoming. The service is attentive and ready to satisfy every need. And what can we say about the dishes: each one better than the last. The passion and dedication are evident. It will be a great pleasure to return.
