You should never take for granted the work that goes into the dishes served, especially if that work is done obsessively, with meticulous attention to detail and the finest ingredients. You're greeted by friendly, helpful, and very professional staff who make you feel right at home. I've been here several times and only now have I decided to write this review simply because they've always been impeccable.

05/07/2025: Perfect evening at Baficchio in Palestrina. Three of us came: me, my wife and my daughter. We had pizza and I have to say it was really excellent. Light dough, well cooked, fresh and abundant ingredients. The place is welcoming, well-kept, with a family atmosphere. The staff is kind and attentive, without being intrusive. A place where you feel good, you eat better and you will gladly return. Highly recommended for those looking for a good pizza in Palestrina.

09/07/2025: Tradition, authenticity, and spontaneity! Trattoria Iolanda is the pinnacle of home-style Salento cuisine. The restaurant is authentic, rustic, and family-friendly, the staff is friendly and genuine, and the menu embodies traditional, high-quality cuisine. The fried pasta appetizer is highly recommended, as is the fresh homemade pasta with sauce and horse meat (and coming from a Catania native who grew up eating horse meat, you can trust me), as are the meat-based main courses and the excellent pasticciotto cake. The price is truly superb! (Just over €35 per person for an appetizer, a first course, a meat-based main course, a side dish, dessert, wine, and water. Where can you find such low prices for such high quality these days?) In short: wonderful atmosphere, excellent menu, super prices... What more can I say? Well, the poem posted in the room speaks the truth: "When you get up because you have to leave, I swear, you do it with great longing!" Highly recommended!

02/07/2025: If someone asked me where to find the worst pasta in the world, I’d probably say here. The pasta we had was incredibly bad — after just a couple of bites, I couldn’t eat any more. Honestly, how do you manage to serve such terrible pasta right in the heart of Italy? If you truly want to enjoy pasta or pizza in Italy, avoid the touristy central spots like this one. Instead, look for more humble, local places tucked away in the side streets. They usually offer better food, more authentic service, and fairer prices. Here, not only was the quality disappointing, but the service also felt arrogant and careless — and on top of that, it was more expensive than average.

28/07/2025: A typical Turin pizzeria with just a few tables and a retro, family-friendly atmosphere. We tried some appetizers, including vitello tonnato, stuffed peppers, primo sale cheese with caramelized onion, and tongue with salsa verde—all quite good.

29/07/2025: Siamo stati alla casa delle esposizioni di Illegio per visitare l'annuale mostra. Sempre bellissima. Con l'occasione abbiamo finalmente potuto pranzare in questa antica trattoria nel cuore di Verzegnis. Una calda accoglienza da parte del titolare per renderci piacevole il pranzo e la sosta da loro Cibo di alta qualità, ricercato nella presentazione, molto concreto e genuino nella sostanza. Bella esperienza. Ci torneremo con altri amici che sanno apprezzare la buona cucina e la ristorazione professionale.

19/08/2025: These are the worst pizzas we have eaten since we arrived in Milan. Of course, the pizzas are not expensive (€6 per margherita) and are served until late (two advantages), but the quality is not at all there. After ordering a Genovese and a Quattro Diritti we discovered two soft dough pizzas with all the ingredients that composed it straight out of cans... mushrooms, artichokes, canned olives, all uncooked and accompanied by a pesto running oil. This restaurant can save you at the last minute, but I do not recommend it if you have the opportunity to go elsewhere. They are the worst pizzas we have eaten since arriving in Milan. Of course, the pizzas are not expensive (€6 per margherita) and are served until late (two advantages), but the quality is not up to par at all. After ordering a Genovese and a Quattro Stagioni, we discovered two soft-crust pizzas with all the ingredients straight from the can...mushrooms, artichokes, canned olives, all raw and accompanied by a pesto sauce dripping with olive oil. This restaurant might save you at the last minute, but I wouldn't recommend it if you have the opportunity to go elsewhere.

15/07/2025: Sono stato più volte a cenare in questo magnifico posto,e devo dire che e sempre una bella sorpresa ritornare,cibo ottimo, dagli antipasti ai primi di ottima qualità,anche se il punto forte e Sicuramente la Carne!alla fine di tutto decidiamo di consumare gli assaggini di dolci squisiti,la vera chicca e stata alla fine di tutto,portandoci un piccolo tiramisù senza che noi sapessimo nulla,con la scritta nel piatto di buon Anniversario cosa che abbiamo gradito molto. 13/07/2025: Posto eccezionale per la posizione, peccato per tutto il resto, lasciate ogni speranza voi che entrate. Personale scortese, a tratti scocciato. Sembra che ti stiano facendo un favore. Porzioni piccole, niente di eccezionale, volevamo mangiare pesce ma le proposte all’80% erano tutte carni. Prezzi oltre la media. Abbiamo pagato 90€ a testa per un antipasto abraxas diviso in due e un pezzo di carne piena di sale, cottura media arrivata con il sangue che scorreva nel piatto. Assurdo! Il cameriere replica dicendo che la carne più è cotta, più perde sangue! Mai sentito in vita mia in nessun posto dove ho mai cenato. A fine serata ci spostiamo nell’area bar per godere del panorama. Al ritorno il tavolo era stato sparecchiato e la mia borsa non c’era più. Dopo aver chiesto a tutto il personale senza avere una risposta certa, dopo una mezz’oretta mi riportano la borsa che era stata lasciata in cassa come oggetto smarrito. Una borsa che era al nostro tavolo con tanto di effetti personali e ci avevano anche visto che ci eravamo spostati per un po’! Evitatelo!
