22/06/2025: We were here for a wedding. It is a very beautiful location at about 300m altitude. It is a restaurant with a private area and garden that can be rented for private parties. All the food (appiritivi and 5 courses) was completely vegetarian and very tasty! They also offer refreshing summer drinks to quench your thirst. The garden is very beautiful and has multiple layers because it is on the mountainside. There is also a swimming pool. This makes it a bit more dangerous for children.

07/08/2025: On Sunday 24 September 2023, after a friendly football match with my thirteen-year-old son, despite living in Lavinio we decided to have lunch in this Sicilian Gastronomy and we did well. Everything we ate was excellent and we will return to eat other Sicilian specialties. Congratulations for the excellent value for money. 22/07/2025: The cannoli are excellent, the only true Sicilian ones in Latina! The arancini are also delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful.

01/08/2025: Tonight I tried to relax and have dinner at this lovely place. It's a shame I ordered two appetizers and a first course, and everything arrived almost at once. Rather than a quiet dinner, it felt like a rush to the exit. The dishes were nothing special, obviously tasted and left almost untouched. I'm wondering if everything was okay, but a good restaurateur should have known from what I left. I'm really sorry, especially because the place is really nice...unlucky...? Who knows. I paid my bill quietly and left because arguments or complaints make no sense to me. I prefer discretion if there's anything else.

28/06/2025: A poca distanza dal centro di Verona si trova un locale davvero particolare, capace di regalare un’atmosfera unica, soprattutto agli amanti delle moto. Il posto è curato nei dettagli e trasmette subito un’aria accogliente e vivace. Abbiamo partecipato all’evento “all you can eat” di costine e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti. Il cibo era semplicemente delizioso: oltre alle costine abbiamo preso come contorno patatine fritte e verdure grigliate. Le patatine erano perfette, belle dorate, croccanti e senza alcun retrogusto di olio riutilizzato. Le verdure grigliate, in particolare le zucchine, avevano un retrogusto dolce che le rendeva irresistibili. Ma il vero pezzo forte sono state le costine: morbide, succose, si staccavano dall’osso con una facilità incredibile e si scioglievano in bocca come burro. Da bere abbiamo scelto una birra artigianale, ottima, segno di una selezione di qualità. Il personale è stato davvero molto cordiale e disponibile, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta con un sorriso. A fine pasto abbiamo voluto provare anche un dolce. Peccato per la scelta un po’ limitata: ho preso una cheesecake al mirtillo, ma il sapore era troppo dolciastro per i miei gusti. In ogni caso, esperienza più che positiva, soprattutto per chi cerca buon cibo e un ambiente perfetto per chi ha la passione per le due ruote e un servizio attento e gentile. Sicuramente da consigliare e da ripetere!

23/06/2025: Taking advantage of a 2x1 promo (the cheapest burger was free), we took the opportunity to return to Mr Martini after many (too many) years. In the meantime, the burger joints in the city have multiplied and what was once a simple concept of flattened minced meat, cooked and then served between two slices of bread, has evolved into "Gourmet Hamburger". The use of high-quality meats, refined ingredients and a careful presentation has transformed this simple sandwich into a more satisfying gastronomic experience, capable of combining taste, quality and creativity. The place is furnished in a well-studied industrial style, in which the presence of the fine motorcycles on display helps to create that atmosphere that a rider with a vintage heart can only love and appreciate. The service was efficient and flawless, with a kind and helpful staff that made the evening even more enjoyable. To conclude, everything here seems to embody some words of Nicola Martini (aka Mr Martini) that are quoted in the menu: "the beauty of believing in dreams and the f*cking commitment that is needed to make them come true". So we can only confirm... the experience is really "Special"

21/08/2025: The tavern is immersed in the characteristic village of Gradara, the food is excellent, we had lunch outside... pleasant and very relaxing... definitely worth returning!

21/08/2025: Excellent value for money, excellent food. Recommended! I had lunch here a few days ago with my daughter. We ordered a fillet steak, a vegetable platter with focaccia, and two bottles of still water. €52 was well spent. I should point out that, if desired, the fillet steak (which on the menu is marked with a mixed side dish) can be ordered with a simple side of fries for those who don't like vegetables (in this case, my daughter). I really appreciated it. After a short wait, our dishes arrived. The timing was right, and the portions were generous. The fillet steak was exquisite: perfectly cooked (we had requested medium), with excellent flavor, as was the quality of the meat. It melted in your mouth. The vegetable platter included raw and variously cooked vegetables, including battered zucchini flowers, a tart, and various gratinated vegetables. The staff was friendly, helpful, and unobtrusive. The restaurant has both an indoor and outdoor seating area. Location with a view of the Gradara fortress. This restaurant amazed me... 5 stars well deserved.

02/08/2025: What a wonderful surprise! We were a little hesitant at first when we discovered it was a 100% vegan restaurant (we were told so at the entrance), but we were ultimately won over. The dishes are of high quality, with special mention for the hummus and the sweet potato-based Trust Me, which particularly appealed to us. The service is impeccable: the servers are very pleasant, and the atmosphere among the team members is warm and friendly. By far our best address in Sicily.

13/07/2025: Once again, Chef Enzo pampered us with his traditional cuisine, representing the pinnacle of Campanian gastronomy. The courteous and attentive service showcases the meticulous work of the chef's team. "Il Soffio" is undoubtedly one of the finest culinary establishments in the entire Caserta province. A heartfelt thank you to the chef and all the staff.

The cuisine is an excellent blend of two cultures and two regions, Sicily and Tuscany. The dishes are simple yet refined, thoughtful, and carefully prepared. The recommended wines are also excellent! A real discovery!

I did an entire catering for a party and I have no words to describe the goodness of the products, both sweet and savory. Everything is super good! The freshness of the ingredients and the expertise of Giuseppe, the owner, make sure that anyone who tastes their arancini, cannoli, and everything else will never change! 19/07/2025: The Locanda offers typical Lucchese dishes, so I recommend it to anyone traveling and stopping in Lucca. Just outside the walls of Lucca, you can easily access the city center by car. Parking is easy in front of the restaurant. I would also recommend it to locals, though. The dishes are very carefully prepared with fresh, delicious ingredients. I highly recommend it.

18/07/2025: Italian comfort food done right. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, the service the best I’ve had in Italy, and the food is outrageously good. And if you don’t get the torta della nonna, you aren’t doing it right.

13/07/2025: We went for a lunch in this nice place in Acqui Terme. Impeccable service, very friendly. Superb food and the wine that was suggested went very well with all the courses. Wonderful experience and when we will be back in the Piemonte, we will most certainly visit this place again.

The location is simply enchanting: an elegant and timeless atmosphere that offers an immersive experience, perfectly balanced between history and refinement. We ordered two appetizers and two fish main courses: each dish was a pleasant discovery. The presentation was meticulous, almost artistic, and the flavor combinations were original and unexpected, a sign of careful, creative cuisine that respects the ingredients. The service made the evening even more enjoyable: the manager was friendly and helpful. Special praise also goes to the waitress, who was charming, affable, and attentive, always attentive but never intrusive. In short, Il Moncalvo proved to be a delightful discovery: a restaurant that combines quality cuisine, welcoming service, and a unique architectural setting. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a high-end dining experience in Acqui Terme. It feels like we're overlooking the fact that our big dog Byron was also chocolate and very welcome. --
