25/07/2025: Divine food - the chestnut ravioli was delicious! We were a party of 5 and everything was so good - fish & seafood and pasta. Two bottles of wine and a beer and more than enough food was €194 for the best meal we’ve had in 2 weeks in Italy. We parked in the castle grounds.

The starters and cocktails were very good, but the main courses ranged from underwhelming to ok. The final bill was out of proportion to the quality of the food, but you're paying for the intangibles.

The staff had to deal with a very unpleasant woman who was just looking for a free meal by complaining about her meal! The staff were professional and dealt with her with grace! They ensured that the rest of us were not put off by that woman! I highly recommended going here for a lovely meal ❤️

We dined overlooking the sea, enjoying raw seafood, lobster, and eggplant tortelli with stracciata. Recommended for those seeking the ultimate in relaxation, beauty, and quality. We'll definitely be back!

17/07/2025: A family-run trattoria, among the best in the area. Rustic and welcoming atmosphere. Attentive and friendly staff. Everything is delicious, from appetizers to dessert. Interesting wine list. Suitable for entertaining guests after a ceremony or even just for an evening with friends or colleagues. I recommend the creamed corn soup all'onda with sweet and sour rabbit or with mushrooms and gorgonzola and mascarpone. For a first course, try the macaroni with radicchio and sausage or the tagliatelle with pork and truffle. For a second course, try the sliced beef with Sicilian mince. Monja's desserts are a real treat, especially the Pasticciata. These are just examples, but you can't go wrong with any dish. Off-menu options are also available.

30/07/2025: Our local guide told us about this place. We had a great lunch, food was excellent especially sardines and scallops. The drinks were top notch too. Service was extremely welcoming. Even the glassware was nice and special. Cannot recommend this restaurant more🤗

30/07/2025: We were recommended this place by a friend and called in for a reservation for lunch. we had requested outside seating, however when we arrived we noticed they only had a few tables outside and they were full. We sat inside which was actually very nice. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The menu didn’t really have anything that jumped off the page for us but the waiter made some great suggestions for something off the menu. The chef made us a really nice tagliatelle dish that was delicious. Overall good experience.

09/08/2025: A fantastic experience, absolutely worth a try. First of all, you have to book on their website (they're very well organized). We went for dinner; you're asked to arrive between 7 and 7:30 PM. There's a small aperitif with bread, lard (Chianti butter), and wine/water. Then, at 8 PM, the tables begin to be set up—a much-appreciated idea, a great way to meet new people and share experiences. Once you're seated, the food begins immediately. At the table, we find: unlimited water and wine, a bowl of raw vegetables (carrots, celery, and onions), and a dip. After a few minutes, the various cuts of meat are presented, from the delicious raw meat to the queen, the Fiorentina. We finish with a piece of simple cake, coffee, and grappa. The whole thing costs €50 per person. You won't leave hungry; it's always a pleasure to return.

Friendly and welcoming staff ready to help you, then the menu written on the blackboard that is brought between the tables,,,,,,, it's truly a stroke of genius, congratulations, I highly recommend going there even if you're not passing through

16/06/2025: We used the camper area to visit S. Giovanni Rotondo and the places where S. Pio lived and preached. Very kind owner, clean, shaded area, loading and unloading, large parking and square. Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to sit at the restaurant because it was closed for shift. I highly recommend the stop.

20/07/2025: the best dinner i’ve had in salerno. My family and I had the best time talking to the waiters and owner! They were all so lovely and the food was incredible, and we came all the way from Australia. The Steak, Caprese, and local pizza was the absolute best. Would 100% recommend!!
