Don't be disenchanted by the short dirt road leading upward to this beautiful little boutique hotel, because at the top of the knoll sits the charm and luxury you hoped for in Tuscany. We stayed in the deluxe king room with a view. We were so enchanted we stayed one extra night and even then, hated to leave. I underscore every compliment expressed by others, regarding the staff. They're fabulous and work diligently to make your stay comfortable and memorable, and they make all that look effortless. Kudos to Niccolo who shared fun conversation with us while still managing the operations. We felt like family. We did indulge in the 2 hour wellness experience and WOW! Do that! We also took a cooking lesson from the chef which was private, informative and simply delightful. This is located in the perfect place - away from the crowds but close enough to everything. Drive less than an hour in almost any direction through the gorgeous Tuscan countryside and your pick of wineries and history are at your fingertips. What adjective best describes this place? Fantastic? Awesome? Luxurious? Charming? yes - yes-yes!

06/01/2025: A 5 star stay. Structure located in a small town with a beautiful view of a medieval village surrounded by nature. Large and elegant rooms that combined a modern taste with historic environments. Private restaurant and exceptional dishes. Excellent buffet breakfast with wide choice and intimate. Professionalism and seriousness of the staff. A relay that pampers the customer from the moment of his arrival. We especially appreciated the little customer-friendly details, from parking with video cameras to welcome gifts.

21/02/2025: I had the most wonderful time at Zilla Rilla. The food was absolutely fantastic and delicious. I think I had the best tomatoes and feta of my life there. I will be dreaming of it !! The owners spoke to us throughout the evening about their dishes and their inspiration for their recipes. They accommodated myself and 7 of my friends with such enthusiasm, despite not having a reservation. It was one of my favorite times while in Rome. Super close to the Vatican Museums and overall an amazing experience. I will be back!!

18/02/2025: Amazing cute little restaurant. Amazing food. Amazing service. Really good if you want classics but better. The food was honestly amazing. Best we've had in all of Rome in the last four days. Honestly if you are in the Vatican area come here, instead of the overly rated rushed restaurants in the area. You won't be disappointed.

15/09/2024: Restaurant mit fleischlastiger Karte und nettem Service. Die Kellner sind äußerst freundlich und man merkt dass ihnen daran gelegen ist den Gästen einen schönen Abend zu bescheren. Vor allem der Kellner ohne den Bart war sehr nett! Das Essen war lecker und gut zubereitet. Wir waren Gäste des Hotels und fanden die Karte um jeden Tag dort zu essen zu eintönig, fleischlastig und auf Dauer zu hochpreisig für das Angebot. Dennoch ein gutes Restaurant, in dem man einen schönen Abend verbringen kann.
