16/11/2024: We were taken here by friends for dinner. Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior this place is outstanding. A really well procured menu with local ingredients, an extensive wine list and solid cocktail list make for a great night out. I started with the carpaccio which was not only delicious, but a large portion. That followed with the beef cheeks which melted in my mouth. Every mouthful of food was delicious. I can also recommend the Negronis as an aperitivo. Add to that friendly attentive service. If your in the area pay this place a visit as you won't be disappointed.

06/01/2025: Osteria from times gone by, an informal place, where you can find home cooking with a few well-executed dishes, the off-menu blackboard, which encourages you to dive into the art of authentic flavors typical of these areas, all washed down with wines that help to enjoy the dishes at 360 degrees. Small place, open kitchen and attentive service, give the place the right flavor of home. Very competitive prices. A place to gladly return to.

29/09/2024: Small restaurant in the center of Cupello with few seats that can guarantee impeccable service and refined and tasty cuisine. Marcello knows his stuff, he represents the innkeeper to perfection, with sympathy and competence. We had dinner here for two evenings during our stay in Vasto and we particularly appreciated the grilled lamb, the selection of local cured meats and cheeses, and the suckling pig cooked at low temperatures. In short, if you are in the area it is an obligatory stop, even for fans of spontaneously fermented artisanal wines.

27/01/2025: I went back in time, lunch at grandma's house (if your grandma cooks beautifully!). Excellent raw materials and better processed. Dishes that have a history and a host who has a great desire to do well by telling everything with such enthusiasm. Well done too, mother's golden hands in the kitchen, incredible macaroni! We'll be back soon!

22/01/2025: On an ordinary day, any Wednesday, by chance we arrived at Piccolo Ristoro Le Rocce. Unplanned experience, perhaps even more surprising for this reason. The place transmits warmth and welcome as soon as you enter. The dishes and the truly typical cuisine confirm that you have found the right place. Then when you stop to talk to Stefano you understand that behind it there is work, passion and experience, all in maximum simplicity. Ingredients at 0 km, recipes "respectful" of tradition. It's always nice to meet people who believe in what they do and who share what they know. Definitely recommended if you want to have a "typical" lunch in Pietrapertosa.

22/10/2024: Fixed menu, pleasant, all dishes were well prepared. Obviously we are far from cuisine but it is a local cuisine with predictable dishes of reasonable quality. The service is courteous, perhaps not exactly dedicated, but always present. The environment is a mix of slightly kitsch but welcoming styles.

04/10/2024: Great place! Family atmosphere, atmospheric decor. The menu is one for everyone and consisted of snacks, soup, several appetizers, main course (I didn't take a photo because it disappeared too quickly 😅) and dessert. Plus a carafe of wine and water. All for 35 euros per person. Fresh, local and seasonal products, deliciously prepared, amazing! Very nice and professional service. I'd love to come back!

06/01/2025: What a pleasant discovery!!!! We found this small but welcoming place almost by chance, but I would absolutely go back. Very friendly staff, very good food, with very good and plentiful traditional Roman pasta dishes. Fair and not excessive prices, plus we were also offered a tart. Super recommended.

25/12/2024: I went to this restaurant on Christmas Eve. Really well set table and very beautiful and elegant environment. I didn't appreciate that they served a chicken salad as an entrée, as it was Christmas Eve and I also don't eat meat, even if, once I mentioned it, they brought me another entrée (they should have asked for it first!). Very good starter and fish main course, with top quality ingredients, even if the portions are not abundant. The dessert, however, left a lot to be desired. As for the service, from a place of this type, I would have expected much better; most of the waiters were visibly novices.
