This is authentic Sicilian Italian food. The grill is amazing. The meats aren't dry, but juicy. All the restaurants in the center of Catania are second to none. They cater to tourists, but the cooking isn't Italian. There's a nice local atmosphere. The grill man really knows his stuff. The service is also great. I recommend the antipasti—it's truly amazing. The best food in Catania! The pasta with pistachio cream and bacon is simply amazing. The grilled beef is delicious, and the pesto pasta is amazing. I highly recommend it; you won't regret it.

A pleasant surprise! In the heart of Catania, on Via Plebiscito, just steps from Ursino Castle, you'll find "La Rustica"! An outdoor grill for roasting and eating, and a small but well-maintained indoor restaurant with a few tables! Excellent service and friendliness, but above all, delicious food. You can enjoy lunch or dinner with a selection of first courses, meat, and fish main courses of excellent quality! Highly recommended!

A secluded spot away from the center where locals go to enjoy fantastic food. Everything is delicious, but the horse meat is particularly famous, and don't miss the pistachio pasta—it's amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly. We've been twice, and both times were wonderful.
