12/05/2025: A good place to eat on the Amalfi Coast at a fair price (although prices are rising everywhere). The choice is not wide but a few good things are better. The Genoese excellent. The octopus is also good. The frying is a bit heavy. Very kind and helpful staff. I also found the house white wine good.

09/05/2025: 🌟A refined dinner in the heart of Milan🌟 The Don Carlo restaurant in the legendary Grand Hotel et de Milan gave me an unforgettable evening, where every detail — from the interior to the final chord of dessert — was impeccable. Cuisine: Let me start by saying that even the bread basket here is a work of art: fresh, with a crispy crust and a variety of varieties, it perfectly prepared the taste buds for the further gastronomic journey. Delicate ricotta with its creamy texture and slight saltiness conquered from the first bite. The Russian salad, served with an elegant accent, retained its traditional charm, but acquired sophisticated notes. The artichoke, cooked to perfection, surprised with a combination of crunch and softness, and the lobster... Oh, that lobster! Juicy meat, emphasized by an exquisite sauce, became the main character of the evening. Wines: The Don Carlo wine list is a separate delight. The 2020 Barolo I chose was the perfect companion for the dinner: rich, with velvety tannins and ripe berry notes, it complemented each dish harmoniously. Service: The staff showed the highest level of professionalism - attentive but unobtrusive, with a deep knowledge of the menu. Each recommendation of the waiter was accurate, and the service was impeccably fast. Atmosphere: The interior of the restaurant seems to transport you to the era of luxury of the 19th century: elegant furniture, soft lighting, antique mirrors and fabrics in pastel colors create an atmosphere of coziness and elegance. Don Carlo is not just a restaurant, but a real journey for gourmets and aesthetes. Excellent panini: super quality products, taste, crispness... a real treat! Possibility of creating your own panino à la carte, according to your wishes. We choose everything, it’s great! The small shop exudes authenticity, we feel that it is made with passion. Delicious little dessert, and all for a very reasonable price. I recommend with my eyes closed! A great address not to be missed.

Naturally the food is very good - the many reviews confirm this - what I find elevates it compared to other places is the perfect combination of the refined hospitality "of the past" offered in an absolutely light and convivial way! The surprise is also on the menu where you can find innovative combinations and simple cuisine proposals (always successful) prepared with quality raw materials. Sara, the landlady, is present and hospitable, supported by Serena and Matteo, who offer impeccable service with friendliness and precision; entrusting the perfect success of the meal to the goodness of the dishes! Thanks to the kitchen and dining room team for a very pleasant evening!

02/04/2025: Restaurant inside Sansepolcro is located in a former church. You eat really well here and if you want to take a bottle of wine you can do it easily saving there are several bottles that cost little.
