Antico Pignolo In Venezia

Great food, you get your bang for your buck. We spent $170 euros on just the two of us but well worth the money.

I had the pleasure of dining at Antico Pignolo and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, making it perfect for both a relaxed dinner and a special occasion. One of the highlights is the beautiful outdoor garden, a quiet and charming space that adds something really special to the evening, especially during warmer months. The cuisine is refined and well-executed, with great attention to quality ingredients and presentation. The wine selection is also excellent, offering interesting options that pair nicely with the menu. Service is another strong point: attentive, professional, and never intrusive. Overall, a restaurant that stands out for its quality and ambiance. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Beautiful place, we tasted the mixed Venetian antipasto, really well done, as a first course I had a pacchero with octopus ragù, it was really good, the only advice I can give is to constantly check the saltiness of the water in the kettle because it can happen that during the service it needs to be salted, but being a chef I also understand very well and therefore I am writing this review not to make a criticism but a constructive advice, as regards the quality of the ingredients, nothing to say, furthermore I found kindness and professionalism of the waiting staff

A classic spot for good food near San Marcos

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The place is truly elegant and beautiful, and the staff was exceptionally kind and professional. Our waiter spoke several languages and made us feel very comfortable by speaking with us in both English and Spanish. At first, I hesitated to go in because the restaurant was empty and the prices were a bit higher than other nearby places. However, once the food arrived, we realized it was absolutely worth it. The portions were generous and perfectly sized for one person, and the quality and flavor of the food were outstanding. Everything from the presentation to the taste was excellent. We gladly give this restaurant 5 stars in every category and would happily return.

Let me start by saying great service. The drinks are a little pricey, which we knew before going. The food was amazing, try the pasta with garlic, pepper, anchovies, etc… so good! The place is just off the tourist lane, but easy to find. I don’t think there is a bad thing on the menu.

I found this beautiful place walking back to my hotel from a day of exploring. I wasn’t sure if I was even going to have dinner, but I saw the Michelin sign outside and there were a few Venetian specialties I had wanted to try so I took my chance. Everything was absolutely perfect!!!! The friendly service, the masterful food, the ambience and the excellent choice of post bop Jazz in the background. And…the price and value was excellent! Go here, you will be happy you did!

Very friendly service. Lovely atmosphere. The Chianti was good. The food was too. The pheasant tartare was prepared at the table with the spices we had chosen beforehand. Delicious. Gluten-free bread was also available.
