07/07/2025: Absolutely fantastic experience. The seabass was one of the best I have had – perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavour. Portions were generous and the prices very reasonable for the quality. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere made it even better. Highly recommend!

09/06/2025: Petit restaurant trouvé au détour d’une rue dans le centre de Rome. Très bel accueil, équipe de jeunes très dynamique, serviable et toujours avec le sourire. Cuisine italienne dans toute sa splendeur, simple et efficace. Rapport qualité prix impeccable. Ce restaurant aura été notre préféré du séjour. 🇮🇹

18/07/2025: The location is beautiful...but...but...but So, let's start with the reservation call: - it's fair to inform the caller that the menu is set at €70 per person, excluding drinks...but it would also be fair to inform the customer at the same time (and this wasn't done) that the table will only start to appear when the restaurant is practically full (like a wedding). Result: we arrived at 8:00 PM (some couples were already seated) and didn't eat until 8:40 PM (except for 1 fishball on the house). In short: the customer needs to know...and be able to choose; - the steamed corn on the cob, among the appetizers, should have been served with the shell cut on the sides or with small scissors to do so and allow for easy tasting of the flesh: nothing (moreover, the corn on the cob was served au gratin, this time with the shell cut on the back); - the mussels were bland; they looked like they were simply boiled in water, without even a hint of parsley (none at all) or a pinch of pepper. And I don't think that's the way they're prepared in Abruzzo, because we've had them in other Abruzzo restaurants, cooked differently; - the side dish was a very sad, flat, colorless salad (without a single cherry tomato, a sprig of arugula, celery, or basil leaves...nothing); - the rest of the menu? It depends on each customer's expertise. Personally: adequate (with the exception of the fried calamari, which was truly well-executed); - dessert: delicious; - wine list: excellent. In short, as far as we're concerned, the menu as a whole isn't worth €70, and that's a real shame, because such a location (I repeat, beautiful) and the customers of such a restaurant deserve, for the price paid, something more in terms of the food (and I'm not talking about quantity—in fact, I'd significantly reduce the number of courses, especially appetizers, in favor of higher quality) and the organization. As I always say: if I'm racing in a Ferrari (and this Trabocco is a splendid Ferrari), I have to come in first...

17/07/2025: Everything at the Top...in an Over the Top location!!!

29/06/2025: We started with the best assumptions, seeing so many good reviews... It was not an experience to recommend, starting from the reservation: "but will there also be arrosticini?", "of course"... Spoiler: there were, but they are separate and cost 15 euros per portion 😅 As soon as we arrived, the waiters welcomed us in a rather casual and distracted manner, but maybe because it was Saturday?! Next to us, a couple from the north; they start arguing among themselves about the quality of what they are eating, they answer in a piqued manner to the waiter and continue the experience. Intrigued, more than worried about the thing, we continue. To try a bit of everything, I choose the menu with first course and my girlfriend the menu with meat. Total 35 each. The appetizer, unfortunately a little reduced, but still good. Immediately after receiving the appetizer, one of the waitresses begins to ask, in a not entirely polite manner, at each table (even those already served for a while), the name of the reservation. What can I say... Maybe it would have been better to ask before seating people, as well as serving them. The first course follows: pasta with sauce, cooked unevenly. I must say, definitely not a pasta from a trattoria or restaurant. Finally, apotheosis: plate of meat, with 3 slices in a cross, salad and potatoes. Let's draw a veil over the meat and let's not even talk about the salad and potatoes that, more than the oven, have knowledge of the dish in which they will have been left for at least 2 days. Not satisfied, we go so far as to ask if anything else was planned. They then brought us a Macedonia, neither praise nor infamy. In short, are you tourists? Italians? Are you used to good food? Avoid! 35 euros is really a lot for a dinner like this, considering the overall quality is absolutely not up to par...

15/06/2025: exceptional trattoria, food cooked and eaten, few tables and the manager lays out the pasta in front of you before serving it... amazing fresh appetizers... the grilled meat is also excellent

06/07/2025: Really good, with cold cuts and fresh products. I would have preferred a few more puccias, perhaps with bombette or octopus, but still recommended.

28/06/2025: Everything is really well thought out, the products are tasty, quality, the plates are beautiful, the desserts are succulent, especially the tiramisu and the sorbet, and the service is impeccable. It may lack background music when the atmosphere is still calm, but when the restaurant fills up the atmosphere is appreciable and the background music is not so necessary so it's ok.

13/07/2025: Best pizza I've ever had, tasty, soft, and with a high crust. The fantastic view is somewhat obstructed by the balcony and the pillars of the canopy; from the innermost tables, you can barely see it, but from the outer ones, it's better.

10/07/2025: I went for pizza with my boyfriend. To start with, the guy who works there has no manners. In fact, he probably only gets along with men, since, out of politeness, the woman is served first, then the man. But the service isn't what it used to be—everyone does as they please. The cover charge is incredibly high, €3.00 per person, which is truly absurd. Finally, the pizza isn't as special as they say; the dough is heavy, and the ingredients they use aren't fresh, which shows when you taste it. The view isn't exceptional; there are much nicer restaurants on the island that make much better pizza and have much more beautiful views. I don't recommend it.

13/07/2025: A typical local restaurant serving authentic dishes: homemade pasta dishes, desserts, and crescentine (fun fact: the crescentine mutton on the menu is called tigella). The mushroom tortelloni and tagliatelle with ragù are truly excellent! The venison and cheesecake with plum jam from their farm are also delicious. Highly recommended for those looking to unwind for a few hours (your cell phone signal is unlikely)!

08/07/2025: It's rare these days to sit outside in a restaurant (a beautiful one, at that), with a fantastic evening breeze, eating and drinking excellently whatever dish or wine you order, carefully tended by the bubbly and attentive Alessandra! What a summer evening to remember (and, of course, an experience to repeat). Truly superb!

From the moment you enter the restaurant, you feel welcome – the ambiance is stylish, cozy, and designed with great attention to detail. The service was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and courteous, without being intrusive. The food was simply fantastic! Each course was a work of art – perfectly balanced in flavor, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. You immediately notice that the cooking here is done with passion and that quality is their top priority. The value for money is also absolutely perfect. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality cuisine, San Silvestro in Venice is the place for you. We'll definitely be back – we highly recommend it!
