Anyone who calls Scannabue a guarantee isn't lying! Traditional Piedmontese dishes are executed with great quality, including the elite veal with tuna sauce and a very special dessert. The plin pasta stands out: exceptional! The service is courteous and everyone is super helpful (thanks Flavio!). The atmosphere is superb, yet never stuffy. One of the best dining experiences in Turin. Highly recommended.

Excellent Turin cuisine at the right price! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Scannabue in San Salvario is a sure thing. I was there recently and was thrilled: the atmosphere is welcoming and the food is truly excellent. The veal with tuna sauce is out of this world, incredibly tender, and with a perfect old-fashioned sauce. The plin with three roasts is a traditional masterpiece, but the real surprise was the lemon risotto: creamy, fresh, and with an incredible balance of flavors. All at a very fair price, not too expensive for the quality. The service is friendly, and I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back!

We had dinner at Scannabue and enjoyed the experience. I admit we were initially a little hesitant: the restaurant is large, and the offer of a fixed menu at such a reasonable price was a bit intimidating. It's also popular with tourists. Despite this, given the online reviews, we decided to give it a try anyway. I must say we were completely changed: everything went very well. We ate well, the atmosphere was pleasant, perhaps a little chaotic, and the service was in keeping with the type of restaurant. The staff were kind and helpful, helping to make the evening simple, relaxed, and very enjoyable.

02/05/2026: The food was excellent, truly top-notch, and the price was certainly not low, but it was consistent with the quality of the service. I'm not giving it full marks and am partially penalizing the service because a lapse in style like the explicit request for a tip when paying by debit card really shocked me. I would kindly ask you to eliminate this terrible habit. If a customer legitimately wants to leave a tip, they will. Asking for it explicitly seemed in extremely bad taste. I'll get back to the food, even if the above ruined part of my evening. The liver scallops, the borage gnocchi, and the Moscato d'Asti zabaglione were excellent.
27/04/2026: A historic trattoria just across the Po River, outside of Turin's city center. The restaurant is elegant, clean, and beautifully decorated. The dishes are mostly traditional Piedmontese and are prepared with high-quality ingredients and with excellent craftsmanship. The mixed antipasto, agnolotti, and bunet were all delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the prices are proportionate to the quality of the dishes (€18 for the mixed antipasto and €15 for the ravioli).
