02/10/2024: Leider gibt es kein Abendessen mehr. Nur noch Bar Betrieb. Vermutlich haben die Vorbesitzer aufgehört. Ich hatte mich sehr auf ein Abendessen dort gefreut. Die Bewertungen waren ja richtig gut. Schade.

09/08/2024: They were underground prisons where criminals were taken. Now I Piombi are closed for bureaucratic reasons, who knows if one day they will reopen them, maybe even just as a museum to visit. I hope so.

27/02/2025: Typical tavern of the Friulian villages where you go to drink in the evening. The management "invents" tasting evenings but the service is poor. The chef must be a magician. It has a good palate but not to be defined as a restaurant.

Ho iniziato ad aspettare in fila e dopo dieci minuti vedo che la stessa cameriera serve un cliente conoscente appena entrato che aveva appena fatto il biglietto . 02/05/2025: In passing, we only stayed one night. Very kind reception, clean room, we found it sanitized and sealed. Excellent and plentiful breakfast: hot drinks and sweets of all kinds. They are needed, so hygiene is guaranteed. Very efficient and kind even in the breakfast room.

09/09/2024: Good bread and croissants in the main street of Lignano Sabbiadoro During our stay in Lignano Sabbiadoro, we visited this bakery in the main street to buy some bread and croissants. The place is small but welcoming, with a good selection of baked goods. The bread was fresh and of good quality, perfect to accompany our meals. The brioches, although good, could have been a little softer "to our personal taste", but overall they were satisfactory. The general offer is interesting, with different options that certainly encourage you to try something else. The service was friendly. Overall, a good bakery if you are in the area and looking for fresh products for breakfast or a light lunch.

26/02/2025: I don't usually write negative reviews but what happened tonight is incredible: we call for a takeaway at 7.30pm we are told that the wait for delivery is 50 minutes, it's raining anyway we accept. An hour and a half passes and not even a sign of the pizzas, so at 8.48pm I call back and am told that the pizza is about to be made and is being prepared. Ok let's wait, 9.09pm I'll call back to ask for info and in advance that if there's a long wait you can cancel the order, he tells me that the pizza is being delivered but that the boy had another delivery before and it's about to arrive (it's 7 minutes from my house to the pizzeria with all the red traffic lights). Result at 9.30pm no trace of the pizza, I force my partner to call, he tells him that he is canceling the order and on the phone the owner doesn't bat an eyelid, so the pizzas hadn't even been put in the oven, nothing but delivery! We have to wait, just say it in advance, but inventing all these lies and taking us for a ride is clearly not! Too bad because we were customers and they will definitely not see us again.

18/01/2025: Wir essen seit vielen Jahren in diesem Restaurant und waren immer von der riesigen und teuren Platte mit Fisch, Meeresfrüchten und Hummer begeistert. Aber dieses Jahr (Juli 2024) waren wir sehr enttäuscht, vor allem vom Hummer, er entsprach nicht der vorherigen Qualität. Es fühlte sich an, als ob das Hummerfleisch erst herausgenommen, zu einer Pastete verarbeitet und wieder zurückgelegt wurde. Es ist eine Schande, ein so minderwertiges Produkt für so viel Geld zu erhalten. Die Bedienung war ganz gut.

30/09/2024: Locale turistico ma con una buona cucina. Menu ampio, propone sia pizze che piatti tradizionali. Tutto buono, veramente ottimi gli spaghettoni all'Astice, peccato che nel menu non fosse indicata la piccantezza che ha creato qualche difficoltà. Prezzi accettabili e in linea con la concorrenza della zona. Unico problema l'affollamento, forse perchè era domenica. Il locale era strapieno nonostante i tavoli talmente vicini che i camerieri stentavano a passare, il consguente vociare era al limite del sopportabile.

29/04/2025: Desiderosi di assaggiare il prosciutto di San Daniele, siamo stati attratti dal menu con proposte diversificate. Il prosciutto ci è sembrato buono, ma più salato di come ci saremmo aspettati. Inoltre avevamo ordinato, come assaggio, un piatto di tagliolini alla trota affumicata (prezzo sugli 11 €) da dividerci in due: la cameriera ha ribattuto "quindi due mezze porzioni", senza specificare altro. Al momento del conto la sgradevole sorpresa: le due mezze porzioni ci sono state fatte pagare 8,00 € l'una, quindi applicando un aumento del 50% sul prezzo dichiarato! Abbiamo fatto presente il nostro disappunto e la giustificazione è stata che si tratta della loro "politica aziendale"... Trovo la cosa molto scorretta, ancor più dopo aver riscontrato che lo stesso inconveniente era già stato riportato in altre recensioni: quindi, poco trasparenti e pure recidivi!

26/04/2025: Ancora seduta al tavolo scrivo, e non per la prima volta (segno che ci ritorno spesso), una recensione di questo locale che resta una garanzia a San Daniele se si vuole gustare il prosciutto e non solo (magnifici i tagliolini con verdure di stagione). Cameriere molto accoglienti, attente e sorridenti. L'ideale per un pasto rapido ma non per pasti in cui si vuole allegramente temporeggiare. Perché allora solo tre pallini nella valutazione? Dolci con prezzo troppo elevato se rapportato a ristorazione di alto livello e pulizia non più quella di un tempo. Seduta non perfettamente pulita (perché liberando il tavolo dallo sporco è ovvio ricada sulla sedia se non si procede a sua volta a pulirla), una chiazza appiccicosa sul tavolo sulla quale ho incollato utilmente lo scontrino della comanda per non perderlo e pulizia perfettibile dei bicchieri; non è facile con tanto movimento di persone ma è fondamentale: insopportabile bere in bicchieri al calice non perfettamente puliti. A parte questi aspetti, facilmente risolvibili con un po' di impegno, continuo a consigliarlo.

15/04/2025: I was here on a rainy day in April (Easter holidays). Nothing going on, inside or outside. The waitress was nice, the ice cream (strawberry cup) for me wasn't homemade but rather "industrial ice cream", the strawberries were fresh, the whipped cream was good. The sauce was thick - I would have liked real crushed strawberries. The interior of the restaurant is very minimalist. Not a highlight for me.

18/03/2025: El personal era muy amable y servicial. El café es bueno. Hay mesas también en el exterior, para disfrutar del tiempo y el sol.
