Easter lunch, excellent starters (we asked for an encore), especially the pumpkin + montasio flan. Very good pie with wild herbs. The meat (fillet) was a little tough, we didn't take the lamb. The wine is good. The service was unable to give me vegetarian alternatives (I had said so twice on the phone) so I skipped almost all the dishes. Children's menu pasta+schnitzel. Good desserts with 3 choices. They discounted us €5 from the fixed menu as we didn't have lamb

Let me start by saying: I have always enjoyed both the welcome and the food. On Easter Monday I went with friends, but the food was terrible, the mixed grill was small and overheated, the white chocolate and pineapple dessert was terrible! Maybe it was for the day, but I was very disappointed!

Historic family-run trattoria, the occasion of the visit was the end-of-year company dinner, a warm, comfortable room with a pleasant view of the typical Friulian fogolar lit up. Superior quality home-made cold cuts, with the authentic flavor of the home-made pork butchery of the past, very good first courses in particular the home-prepared pumpkin gnocchi, the unmissable second course is the frico, also prepared on site and not "industrial", in my opinion notice the real frico is the one where you feel the piece of the potato and not a "purée". Locally produced Ronco Penasa wines also aligned with the quality of the dishes. On the desserts I refer to the comments of my colleagues as I have not tasted them, but they were also greatly appreciated. Price more than honest considering the quality of the raw materials.

Ottimo pranzo con amici, cominciato con affettati e formaggi da condividere super, ottimi anche l'orzotto e il frico. Non sono particolarmente amante del cabernet franc ma devo dire che questo "della casa" merita proprio. Consigliato! Prezzo in linea con qualità e quantità

Un posto vero, autentico. Caldo, accogliente, popolare, allegro. Metto 4 al cibo solo perché ho fatto solo uno spuntino. Frico, affettati e sottaceti ottimi. Vino della casa buono. Gilberto, Kuki e tutti gli altri sono perfetti padroni di casa. Visto che siamo primi in Italia per qualità della vita, Da Vico lo dimostra

consigliato in estate quando si mangia nel dehor oppure in giornate poco affollate. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo se non si cerca il menù ricercato ma una carta breve con piatti casalinghi ben eseguiti. Buon vino a consumo di produzione propria, ottimo pane, primi con sugo di selvaggina e secondi con carne di cortile (coniglio, anatra, oca, pollo) o grigliata. Consigliate le minestre, le insalate fresche e saporite, il frico con diversi tipi di formaggio, i secondi di carne locale. Si parla volentieri friulano, in inverno consigliabile prenotare se si vuole stare nella saletta con il caratteristico "fogolar". Prezzi in poco più cari delle altre trattorie tipiche della zona. Infine, se Gilberto è in buona, non mancate di assaggiare il suo ottimo nocino o un qualsiasi dei liquori fatti da lui.
