01/02/2026: Today I went to this place recommended by the Michelin guide. The worst place I've ever been. I went in at 1 pm and left at 3 pm to eat 2 dishes: seafood appetizer and grilled calamari. To get the main course brought I had to threaten them to leave after an hour. 1 hour for about ten "calmari" thrown there by accident on the plate. The overall service and quality of the food were poor, but above all, they were incredibly rude. They gave me a 5 euro discount as if it could compensate for all the poor service. I'm a private Michelin member telling them I don't understand how they can list restaurants like this. I'll be posting negative reviews all over the web. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

09/11/2025: I honestly don't understand some of the unkind and negative comments (are they true?) I was lucky enough to stumble upon it by chance... and I felt at home, yes, because if you choose this place, it's because you choose to treat yourself like you're at home in exchange for a more than fair price. Authentic, quality food, courtesy, and service are there, even when someone doesn't deserve it. A good glass of wine and a wait that lasts as long as if you were waiting to eat at home, just enough time to chat. In the photo, you see an orzotto, which was truly delicious, but we had other dishes, and everything was top-notch. Thank you!

23/11/2025: Ordinary and overrated pastry shop. The new management has nothing in common with the previous, elegant and refined establishments. This pastry shop has been in Udine since 1924. The new management boasts an acquired tradition. Time has changed the business structure of many places. In this case, the change has only led to a deterioration. Unjustified prices. This place is not recommended for people with good taste!

24/10/2025: I'd say the "service" I received for a coffee was quite embarrassing... the wait was endless, and she even complained at the end because she saw I was upset... but I say, if you know how busy it is in the morning, having two people to serve would be the minimum, and anyway, you can't give priority to those who come in later! Rudeness is definitely not a good calling card. Instead of complaining to a customer who is rightfully waiting, they should have apologized for the wait, and maybe someone stopped. But hearing them sound annoyed when they're the ones who can't keep up with the crowd is a no-go!

05/11/2025: The place is a bar, but it's well-kept and welcoming. The service is quick and friendly. The wine is good, and of course, the San Daniele ham. The food selection is varied, but not extensive. The traditional dishes are good. The price is reasonable.

24/09/2025: Simply perfect! We went for lunch on Saturday. The menu selection was excellent, and the quality/price ratio was excellent! The portions were generous, very tasty, and the presentation was meticulous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even brought coffee and a pastry. Well done! Highly recommended!

18/06/2025: I was disappointed... I ordered a Dixi salad but the salad was not fresh.. The egg was fried when it should have been hard-boiled!! Not everyone likes something like that in a salad...! I had eaten a salad years ago and it was abundant unlike this... The club sandwich bread was special, and I don't want to say old... for the service, a long wait... I'll start by saying that I was their customer... I'll go back but I certainly won't eat the things from the kitchen... I feel sorry for the owner who is very good at making pizzas and I recommend the panuozzo... I hope you can improve with the products....

14/08/2025: I just called to reserve a table right now. They hung up on me because I asked to reserve a table for tomorrow in Catalan. I called back and told them that if they didn't understand me, they should ask me to change the language and that I was being very rude.

10/08/2025: We ordered takeout, and the fries were raw and mushy. The burgers said they had glazed bread, but they didn't have glazed bread; they were just regular bread. I ordered them without vegetables because of an allergy, but they served both burgers with vegetables. €42 for two burgers and some poor-quality fries. Terrible, a disaster.

24/02/2026: A welcoming pastry shop, tastefully renovated, where you'll find delicious and wonderfully buttery pastries and brioches. The owners are young and motivated. He's a refined pastry chef who has built an excellent team, both in the kitchen and in welcoming customers. Nothing is left to chance here: expertise, care, and preparation are clearly evident. I also ordered appetizers for a savory buffet and was completely satisfied.

21/02/2026: Still the best ice cream! We've been coming here for over 20 years. The recipe is probably still the same. After the renovation, there's now indoor and outdoor seating, and they also offer coffee, cakes, and even savory snacks. This stop is always worth it 😉

24/06/2025: I read that it has a past from Biasetto (Padua), bought 4 mignon (1.8€ each), you can feel that the “hand” would be there, but it lacks a bit of drive, the daring, excellent the raspberry mignon, the best. There is not much choice, I expected more variety, I did not see if they had tramezzini, the savoury seemed “normal” to me, not special, I will try it!

17/07/2025: Beautiful outdoor space surrounded by greenery. The interior has been beautifully renovated. Good food and excellent wines.

25/08/2025: A disappointment. The scallops au gratin were three half-scallops, a bit of breadcrumbs on top, and no seasoning whatsoever. The ravioli, which were supposed to have shrimp sauce, were instead filled with cherry tomatoes and zucchini (if I order one thing, I don't see why something completely different should arrive). The desserts (obviously packaged) were dry. The service was questionable; four waitresses twiddling their thumbs, the dining room with only a few tables occupied, and they couldn't even bring the dishes more or less all at once. On top of that, you had to wait forever for everything, be it a piece of bread or a coffee. The bill... exorbitantly high. There were at least three people in the dining room, two brunettes and a pseudo-blonde, one of whom spoke rather broken Italian. If the desserts are homemade, I'm Santa Claus. Besides, those were the least of the problem, since they tasted good anyway. 🤣 Anyone who had a bad experience and had the courage to write about it was in the "wrong place." Luckily, you went bankrupt, or you would have had to find new answers for the reviews.

10/07/2025: Ordered at 9:20 PM on Deliveroo. At around 11 PM, I received a notification that the order had been cancelled. I called the restaurant to explain, but they didn't answer. Shame on me.

17/09/2025: The Capri restaurant in Lignano is the best restaurant for us – we've been loyal guests on every holiday for three years. The food is excellent every time. No matter how many people are at the table, you never have to wait long for your food, and all the dishes arrive at the same time. For three people, including Prosecco, Coke, water, and main courses, we paid around €70–€80 per evening – a really fair price for the quality you get. The staff is always friendly and attentive, regularly checking in to see if everything is okay. We will definitely be back every year!
