28/03/2026: Terrible, terrible, terrible, it couldn't be worse. Non-existent service: you sit down, the waiter looks at you, walks away, and then doesn't come back for your order. You ask him if he could please clean the table and bring you the menu, he looks at you and disappears... It's true that Tarvisio always has a lot of customers, but after so many years of accepting this kind of service because there was no alternative, I'm now turning to new businesses that are much better in every respect. 28/04/2026: Unfortunately, Osteria al Cappello is now just a memory! I took my daughter here because I had wonderful memories of it, but we were extremely disappointed. We waited 45 minutes for two dishes, even though there was only one other table besides ours. Small portions, poor quality food, and overpriced. Good wine.

26/02/2026: I DID NOT STAY AT THE HOTEL The restaurant's decor is a bit dated, the kind that might not immediately catch your eye for its aesthetics, but you appreciate it as soon as the food arrives. The food is truly excellent, and the prices are super fair, which is no longer a given. I've been there more than once because I've always had a great time and left satisfied. The two ladies who run the restaurant are excellent, and you can tell they put care and passion into what they do. They carefully explain the specifics of the dishes you order. Their dishes are all homemade, and the quality is evident in every bite. Authentic flavors, generous portions, and a simple atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Highly recommended! 👌

14/01/2026: Typical mountain hotel. Comfortable rooms, everything you need. Very warm rooms in the winter. Excellent family-run cuisine. Excellent breakfast. Convenient parking. Affordable prices. Super friendly owners and staff. I recommend it for families, groups, and even bikers.

03/02/2026: A small place, but meticulously maintained. The clientele is mostly local, mostly regulars, and the people are laid-back and friendly. They have excellent lager, served in a 1/2-liter glass (a rare occurrence in Italy, where 400 ml is still the norm) and charging €5. The coffee is also good. I haven't eaten here recently, only quite a while ago, so I won't review the food. I often return, especially since I live nearby... But this little place is definitely worth it.

22/12/2025: The bar offers a set lunch menu, and the waiters are incredibly fast. From noon until after 2 p.m., the place is always packed, a clear sign that they do good food. I had made a reservation (on Friday for fish), but they suggested I come back later to be on the safe side, because, rightly, workers get priority. The wait was long. Let's hope it won't be like this next time.

15/02/2026: Booked for Valentine's Day dinner: Number 1: I ask for a "draft beer," and the owner, I presume, says yes... After 2 minutes, I change my mind, go to the counter, and ask for a quarter cup of red wine, NOTING that he was filling my "draft beer" mug with a canned Paulaner. Number 2: Tables were extremely small for the event, and the space between chairs was truly appalling (not even the waiters could get through without slightly "bumping" the chairs). Number 3: The menu consisted of 5 courses... We received the appetizer half an hour after sitting down, and the first course another half an hour later... Both were of truly poor quality, and I should point out that the lobster linguine was EMPTY, just for show. When I asked for tongs to crack the claws, the owner promptly replied, "Well, I can't bring tongs for everyone," so I let it go... Number 4: Quite upset about the whole thing, I went to the counter to pay and leave (since the third course would arrive in just another 30 minutes, and then the fourth course after another 30 minutes), I asked if I could pay for AT LEAST 1 of the two menus (since we hadn't even gotten to the (half) to which the owner replies, "That's not possible because the fish was bought for you and if you want you can take it away, but it has to be cooked." I, shocked, point out that you can't wait an hour for an appetizer and a first course, to which he promptly responds, "It's a big deal, you're the only one complaining," making me feel like I'm in the wrong. In addition to all this, we were served AFTER some of his friends who were eating there arrived. We had to ask for bread, and during the service, he was laughing with his friends at the counter, drinking one glass of white wine after another. A TERRIBLE experience. I really don't recommend even thinking about eating there.

15/02/2026: Terrible, I don't recommend. Extremely long wait, fish not to my liking. Excellent price. When we pointed out the wait to the owner, he told us it was normal, because it was an event menu. (Valentine's Day) Besides the oversight of forgetting to start our table, we noticed that he served the people who arrived after us first (only because they were acquaintances of his), and that's fine, but also bring out our dishes at regular times. Furthermore, if you don't ask for bread, they won't give it to you. After we ate the first course out of hunger (in my opinion, it wasn't good), we got up from the table (there were still three dishes to go). My companion told him about the wait (as written in the first line), and he told us it was normal and that we had to pay full price because he had ordered fish for us. (Yes, they also told us we could take the remaining dishes home, but as mentioned above, we didn't like it.) We paid full price. It's the first time we've been to a restaurant like this, and I think the "you're the only ones complaining" comment was also terrible. This place certainly has other qualities that we didn't see/receive. From the reviews, it seemed excellent. What a shame.

10/05/2026: A welcoming, quiet, clean, and well-maintained place with unique decor, high-quality ingredients (we had fish for lunch), and rich, succulent dishes! Excellent value for money. The owners are very kind and the service impeccable. Just steps from the center of Udine, it's located in an alleyway adjacent to the center, offering a charming little outdoor terrace.

09/05/2026: Excellent pizza, excellent babà! Really interesting beer selection. All topped off by very friendly and helpful staff!

16/04/2026: A decent experience at this pastry shop. The products are good, but not exactly cheap. The service leaves a bit to be desired: there's only one sales assistant and the pace is rather slow, even at off-peak times. Overall, the quality is acceptable, but the service could be improved.

28/03/2026: I've been frequenting the Harley Pub in Clauiano for many years, and every time I walk in, it's a real pleasure. In this welcoming establishment on Via della Filanda, Carla and José's attentive service always makes me feel at home. I come here primarily to enjoy my beloved Leffe: they know how to pour it expertly, ensuring the right head and perfect temperature. And since a good beer always calls for something to eat, I happily accompany it with their famous bruschetta or a well-made sandwich. Authentic, high-quality ingredients, and no frills: exactly what you need for a relaxing, tasty moment at the end of the day. Carla and José are two exceptional hosts, true professionals behind the bar, always friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive. By the way, the pub is located in Clauiano, which isn't just any town, but is rightfully listed among the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy." Strolling among those ancient stone farmhouses exudes a rare sense of peace. If you're passing through to enjoy the village, do yourself a favor and stop by the Harley Pub, perhaps enjoying their quiet courtyard in the warmer months. I assure you, you won't regret it!

24/08/2025: It's a gas station with a cash desk. Fill up your car, with or without assistance. You get friendly information and they also check whether the windows are dirty or the tires are under-inflated. First-class service. You can also have your car washed or wash it yourself; the price is reasonable. I come here often.
