L'Alimentare In Udine

This place is just wonderful. The design, the interior and not the least the owners behind the bar. It is a restaurant combined with an alimentary, and don’t get confused; they have great wine and food. Greeted (and served) by the owner, we had the most wonderful evening at this - off “main street” - place, which deserves so many more guests. Value and experience for money if I may put it that way.

I've rarely given five stars, but these guys deserve it. The food is authentic, light, and simple, yet with a touch of originality. The portions are generous yet digestible and well-balanced, even for sensitive stomachs. Tonight, however, I have to give praise to the young, professional, attentive, smiling, and knowledgeable staff. I loved it.

L'Alimentare is one of those places I always enjoy returning to. Refined dishes and top-quality ingredients, all accompanied by attentive, courteous, and welcoming service. The wine selection is also excellent, perfectly crafted to complement the menu. A place where you eat well and truly feel at home. Highly recommended.

A charming little restaurant in the center of Udine. Very natural dishes and freshly sliced ​​cold cuts. Prices are moderate. There aren't many tables, so reservations are recommended.

Excellent food, warm welcome, and a truly relaxing atmosphere!!!! Lots of local and Italian options...we tried the top cheese platter (with excellent fig jam... Caneva's Moro fig...really cool), corn chips with delicious creamed cod, ravioli del plin with a superb Castelmagno fondue and barley and beans, including the musetto (a kind of snout)! Truly wonderful times!!! A truly beautiful little place!
