A small place, but meticulously maintained. The clientele is mostly local, mostly regulars, and the people are laid-back and friendly.
They have excellent lager, served in a 1/2-liter glass (a rare occurrence in Italy, where 400 ml is still the norm) and charging €5. The coffee is also good.
I haven't eaten here recently, only quite a while ago, so I won't review the food.
I often return, especially since I live nearby...
But this little place is definitely worth it.
The bar offers a set lunch menu, and the waiters are incredibly fast. From noon until after 2 p.m., the place is always packed, a clear sign that they do good food.
I had made a reservation (on Friday for fish), but they suggested I come back later to be on the safe side, because, rightly, workers get priority. The wait was long. Let's hope it won't be like this next time.
