18/11/2025: A place from another era, right where time stands still. Traditional food with flavors from the past that warm the heart. The only flaw is the wine...let's just say it could be improved.
09/11/2025: A traditional trattoria with home-style cooking unlike anything you've seen before. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The barley, bean, and potato soup is a must-try, but everything was delicious.

02/10/2025: The bar is located on the Zugliano - Pozuolo del Friuli road, right next to the road. It has a garden in front. Inside, the bar is nice and there are always guests. The service is fast and, to be honest, the prices are affordable.
29/09/2025: Delicious, freshly baked pastries. The coffee is also very good, but the service could use some improvement.

02/11/2025: Very nice place, friendly staff, and considering it wasn't crowded, we waited an hour for the pizza.
As you can see from the receipt, it's not cheap, it wasn't good at all, and it arrived lukewarm.
Since they have two ovens, it might be worth using both.

29/03/2025: Prima della ristrutturazione era un posto ottimo dove poter gustare un gran pollo allo spiedo e non solo… non vi è rimasto nemmeno il ricordo.
Se andate avanti così non arrivate a Natale… come si fa’ a rovinare qualcosa che funzionava da anni in sto modo…
10/02/2025: Polecam każdemu kogo złapał głód wracając do kraju spróbować kurczaka z prawdziwego grilla w rozmarynie. Pracując jako kierowca minimum raz w tygodniu odwiedzałem to miejsce i nigdy się nie zawiodłem.Dla osób oczekujących porcelanowej zastawy proponuję jechać dalej do Austrii bo tutaj tego nie znajdziecie. Smak i klimat tego miejsca jest dla wielu wielkim doświadczeniem kulinarnym jak i wspomnieniem lat 90.

12/10/2025: If, like me, you're visiting the small pumpkin village of Degano Zucche in September/October (or if you're in the area for other reasons), I recommend lunch at this trattoria. Denis's hospitality and kindness are rare; he treated me and my family like friends; he prepared an excellent appetizer and an equally excellent gnocchi first course. We chatted for a while and exchanged numbers, promising to bring him some jota, a typical Trieste dish, next time. See you soon!
13/05/2025: It's a bar. I only come here for a coffee or a glass of wine. I've only had a few snacks here. I can't say what the food is like or whether you need to make a reservation.

Nice place for a drink. Coffee, soft drinks or alcohol. Reasonably priced.

28/08/2025: A true discovery in Marano! At JO Bistrot, every dish is a tribute to the sea. The seafood salad is incredibly fresh and fragrant, the mixed fried fish is light and crispy, and the grilled calamari with polenta is simply unforgettable.
Sincere compliments to the chef, who manages to enhance every ingredient with passion and mastery. You can sense his love for cooking in every detail. The service is welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere warm and convivial.
A restaurant that conquers the heart and the palate: I can't wait to return!

24/08/2025: It was recommended to us by a friend and we finally went for dinner. What can I say, it exceeded all expectations. If there were 10 stars to give for the service, I would have given them all. The staff is very knowledgeable, both in describing the dishes and the wine they serve, but above all, always smiling and helpful. The food is excellent, never banal and of super quality, served in a welcoming atmosphere. We have already booked for lunch before they close for winter because I wanted to try everything! Congratulations, it's not easy to find a restaurant like this in a seaside resort.

23/10/2025: We got the tip from a 'parking sheriff' – and it was a good one! I'd rate my own pizza 4.5 stars, but we also had sensational pasta with tuna cubes.
We got by just fine with English.
I found the interior to be cool – which can be a relief in the summer, but in early October it was suboptimal.
The men's restroom wasn't ideal at all – but that can be fixed!
14/10/2025: I've been at your restaurant end of September 2025 for a take-away. Some carbonara which was ... SOOOO DELICIOUS . !!! BRAVO for the people.
It is the definition of the traditional restaurant which I used to see in the old films about Italy : 3 generations which keep doing what they love. Nonno, nonna, Son, and grandson.
Hope I will be able to come back to Italy and visit you soon.
