29/01/2026: All good. Clean room, comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff... only negative: 10 minute wait at reception to check in, which lasts 5 seconds?!
24/01/2026: Overall, a pleasant hotel, with a special mention for the receptionist who was very welcoming and professional.
However, our winter stay during the holiday season was a bit disappointing: the hotel restaurant was closed and the general atmosphere lacked vibrancy. The place felt empty and soulless, which significantly impacted our overall experience. It had good potential, but the circumstances and the season were clearly not ideal.

15/01/2026: Paying 4.50 for an Aperol spritz and 3.50 for a juice seems a bit too much to me... you're not in the center of Trieste or in Caorle....

14/10/2025: I'd heard about it the first time I came to Lignano in May, until one evening we went with friends and colleagues. It was very nice, and really crowded at that time of year. The ingredients are good, the portions generous, and for someone from the south, it's always a joy. The only downside is the prices, which are in line with those in northern Italy, but I wasn't expecting them to be so high (probably geared toward the high-spending tourists who frequent the place). Definitely worth a try.

16/11/2025: I've tried and been to many places, but the food here is truly excellent, 5-star quality, a cut above many others both in the area and beyond. Great attention to detail in the dishes, with very balanced aromas and flavors. The simple and quiet atmosphere gives free rein to the heart of the cuisine. In my opinion, one of the best in Friuli Venezia Giulia!
09/10/2025: An excellent dining experience at this charming agriturismo. The dishes were excellent, especially the famous tagliatelle, which were truly homemade. The portions were generous, the quality excellent, and the prices very reasonable. Excellent service, with impeccable courtesy and discretion. Highly recommended.

20/01/2026: Dinner at the Alle Betulle farmhouse was very enjoyable. The tagliatelle with masurin was truly excellent, flavorful, and well-prepared. The braised beef was equally good, tender, and flavorful.
The setting was clean and well-kept, with a welcoming atmosphere, and the price was fair for the quality.
The only thing that could be improved was the somewhat long wait for the food. Overall, however, a positive experience and a recommended place.
18/01/2026: The place is very isolated, located at the end of a dirt road in the middle of the fields. It's small, and seating inside is limited in winter.
The cold cuts were good, the pasta was overcooked, and the dessert was definitely good and well-made. The portions were medium-small for the price we paid. The service was very slow.
Unfortunately, we had neighbors at our table who were very noisy.

26/08/2025: Unfortunately, the atmosphere inside the bar isn't the best, mainly due to the unfriendly attitude of the staff. Kindness and courtesy, which are essential aspects of good service, are completely lacking.
24/08/2025: It's a gas station with a cash desk.
Fill up your car, with or without assistance. You get friendly information and they also check whether the windows are dirty or the tires are under-inflated. First-class service.
You can also have your car washed or wash it yourself; the price is reasonable.
I come here often.

22/12/2025: Finally, under new management, the restaurant is back to being a trusted source! Excellent food! After several visits, I've now tried everything, both for lunch and dinner, and I can say that the fish is fresh and well-prepared. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the service is prompt.
19/09/2025: Great fish and seafood dishes at sensational prices. Vegetarian and meat dishes are also available. The house wine is excellent. Since the new takeover, this has been an outstanding restaurant. A 100% recommendation.
