Huge room. A real suite. Everything is clean and tidy. Very comfortable. Excellent beds. Good facilities. Wonderful breakfast. Pleasant desk service. Smoking garden. Very close to the center. Definitely worth the price. One kilometer from the train station.

Historic and renowned 4-star hotel in the center of Udine: superb location, professionalism, and great kindness, especially from the breakfast and room cleaning staff. Breakfast is more than adequate but not as memorable as one might expect for this type of hotel. The room is small but clean and adequately maintained.

We stayed at this hotel as a group (from Rome). Good location for exploring the city. Clean hotel. Friendly staff. The maitre d' was welcoming, helpful, and attentive, as were all the dining room staff. A few lapses, but they were manageable.

The location is great. Warning: Google Maps led us to the back of the hotel! (!!! The entrance is not on Via del Gelso!!!) The entrance is on Piazza XX Settembre and you can drive right up to it without any problems! The rooms are okay, although a bit noisy in the morning. There aren't enough international power outlets, but plenty of Italian ones. The TV channels are only in Italian. Good garage with plenty of parking spaces. The location is fantastic. Maybe we'll come back again. The reception staff seems a bit bored and sometimes overwhelmed.
