Beautiful location but horrible management, the owner practically on guard and decides what to do in a persistent, at times suffocating, manner. The sound system didn't work, nor did the lighting system, despite this, he didn't do anything to call someone who could fix it, instead constantly blaming the DJ who, using his own equipment, managed to get the evening off to a great start without a catastrophe. This place is not recommended for private parties.

16/03/2026: Unfortunately, the pizza was double-sided: Excellent flavor, very good in terms of flavor and ingredients. Poor digestibility, still in my stomach after 15 hours. Maybe Neapolitan style isn't for me. XD. It's not the first time, and it's not the first place where I've eaten pizza and had a sleepless night. Excellent service with friendly staff. Great location, appreciated background playlist with instrumental versions of hits.

07/09/2025: A recommendation from another hotelier because everything was full. Wonderful, but you need an enduro or 4x4 to get up there; it's gravel, and steep in places. So it's a mountain hut; don't expect any comfort.

12/10/2025: Not every day is sunny in the high mountains, and on that particular day, Lateis was wrapped in a gray cloak of fog. After a long walk, stepping into Pa' Krhaizar felt like entering the warm embrace of an old stone house—a sanctuary that smelled of wood and forgotten stories. Though the view of Lake Sauris, which usually spreads out from the terrace like a watercolor, was hidden behind a veil, the mere thought of it hung in the air, promising a beauty concealed behind the clouds. But in that moment, the warmth inside was more important than the vision outside. Then, that small miracle happened, the kind that stays in the heart longer than any sunlit scene. The bill for the refreshment was so small, yet you only had a large banknote. A moment of awkwardness, quickly resolved by the gentle smile of your waitress. She didn't ask for the change; she didn't fuss about the exchange. She simply waved her hand dismissively at the sixty cents that were missing from the full amount. That gesture, tiny in monetary value, was gigantic in kindness. "Let it be," the silence—and her eyes—said. Thank you, not just for the rest in that beautiful house, but for that moment of pure, unadadulterated human kindness. On a foggy day, that was the clearest and most beautiful view of all: a glimpse into the generosity that makes the mountains even higher and the stay in Lateis truly unforgettable.

10/09/2025: Beautiful place...top-notch cuisine We tried the club sandwich and octopus, which were truly delicious. The place, as mentioned, is very beautiful, intimate, and clean. The manager is very polite, helpful, and professional, even willing to offer recommendations on dishes. Perhaps the only drawback is the limited parking, but that can be overlooked. Highly recommended, and we hope it continues like this.
