08/07/2025: A very informal place, you might not like it, but I do. There are many games: darts, foosball, several American-style billiard tables, and a few Gorizia-style ones. Large screens are available for watching major sporting events in company. It's a bit noisy at times... Good pizza, good beer (you finally drink it in 1/2-liter glasses), fair prices. I enjoy this place every time I come. After the sudden death of Gianni, the owner, the place closed for renovations and is currently run by Edy (his wife) and Katya (his daughter). The style has remained the same, the food selection has been improved (without price increases), the decor has been more refined, and the range of games has been expanded. In short, I confirm my initial assessments: if you get into the spirit of this very special place, you'll always come back. At least that's true for me and the friends I usually come here with. I went back yesterday (May 13, 2025) and the way they make the pizza has changed: it's now taller and softer, and I think it's much improved. The oil they add is incredibly high-quality. They also have an IPA beer (Moretti). In short...ever better.

26/04/2025: Questa hostaria è veramente molto simpatica. Ci siamo andati due volte e eravamo contentissimi. Cibo buono, bevande tremende : (il vino bianco friulano è ottimo). I prezzi sono nella media. I ragazzi e le ragazze del personale sono molto affabili. Possiamo consigliare questo posto senza esitazione.

03/08/2025: A guarantee, it's the fourth time we've been here and they've never missed a beat. The grilled meat, the house specialty, is phenomenal, the traditional meatballs are also good, the service is attentive... the outdoor space is a pleasant and quiet corner. We'll definitely be back. 👏

22/07/2025: Attracted by an event organized as "Paella and Sangria" we participated in four; the food was satisfactory but at the time of paying the surprise: the advertised price of 20 euros per person, sangria included, had become 25 euros, that is 25% more. A protest email with a request for compensation for the amount unduly paid had no response, neither reimbursement nor any form of justification. I would say two visits in one, the first and the last. 17/08/2025: Lured by the very positive reviews, I went to dinner at the hotel restaurant and was disappointed. For an appetizer, a first course, a second course, 1 liter of wine on tap, a bottle of water, and a grappa, I spent 95 euros. In all the other restaurants in the area, I spent (and ate more), not half as much, but almost. The second course (roast rabbit) wasn't great, the price of the wine wasn't listed, and, frankly, 36 euros for a liter of wine is for a bottle, not for the house wine on tap. However, if I had known this beforehand, I wouldn't have ordered it. Even the appetizer, which cost 12 euros on the menu, I paid almost double. It's true that it was a plate (for 1 person) of cured meats and cheeses (instead of just cured meats or just cheeses), but the quantity doesn't justify this extra charge. Again, if they had told me beforehand, I would have thought twice before ordering it! For me it was the only negative experience in Carnia, personally I don't recommend it

25/05/2025: Located in a medieval village VILLA CECILIA is a delight! You can enjoy a splendid panoramic view while tasting good, quality and well-presented food. The environment is welcoming and tastefully furnished, the owner is always hospitable, kind and helpful. Excellent service. Everything is excellent!

13/08/2025: I went there for lunch with a friend for the first time. We'd passed by often but never stopped. Since I'm a pink lover, the decor is gorgeous! Very fast service and very good food!
