04/03/2025: Great place for a slice of pizza

12/01/2025: During a visit to the beautiful village of Venzone we came across this little shop where you can enjoy delicious pizzas by the slice. Stuffed focaccias or pizza with a tall, soft side dish are also excellent. We took some slices of pizza and the stuffed focaccia to take away and when we ate it, after having heated it up, it was as if it had just been baked. Friendly and pleasant staff. We will definitely be back.

15/03/2025: Let me start by saying that I returned after several years... I didn't even remember there was a beautiful fireplace at the entrance which makes for a very welcoming place. Very courteous and helpful staff. The pizzas offered are very good. The combination I tried with cooked ham and kren (non-invasive) was interesting. The desserts are good. I'm not giving 5 stars just because of the beer's lack of personality... At least as far as the smoked red is concerned. Absolutely recommended

07/01/2025: Ogni anno dal 2016 circa faccio un passaggio in questo posto apparentemente familiare . Frequentato da persone prettamente del posto ho trovato nel personale una ragazza bionda con occhiali antipaticissima e poco avvezza alle presenze turistiche . Ero con bambini e mia moglie in linea con il mio pensiero . La cosa che più mi ha irrigidito è stata la sua esclamazione dal banco di lavoro nei confronti dei due mie bambini senza neanche alzare lo sguardo , che con delicatezza si avvicinavano ad un gatto scuro presente in sala ( probabilmente suo visto che si è diretto dopo un po’ dietro al banco di lavoro ) e già su questo avrei da ridire pur essendo amante degli animali . Comunque detto ciò , sorvolando , sul posto niente da dire ma fossi io il proprietario caccerei di corsa la ragazza in oggetto .. insofferenza totale verso la clientela non del luogo , tutto ciò in un posto turistico quale Tarvisio . E’ la prima volta nella mia vita che trovo da ridire su di una persona su questo social, ma posso assicurarvi che veramente ho notato ignoranza totale . Eppure ogni anno quando vengo i miei soldini li lascio … Ai miei figli cara “ signorina bionda “ insegno educazione , integrazione , rispetto , tolleranza e mi domando come questa persona possa lavorare a contatto con il pubblico se poi trasmette l’opposto . Veramente perplesso …. indignato !!! Ps : vi consiglio vivamente per evitare brutte figure con il mondo ( siamo in europa) , mettete un cartello fuori con NON ACCETTIAMO PERSONE CHE NON SONO DEL POSTO !!!

09/03/2025: Aperitifs always at the top with excellent appetizers. Tasty lunches with choice. Roberto is unique with his sympathy and irony. The environment is clean and well looked after, every detail has its own reason. Giada is also good and always welcomes with friendliness and competence.

04/01/2025: Recommended to us by the host where we are staying these days, tonight we had dinner in this place, the Villa Nachini Gabassi Restaurant, also known as Osteria Barchessa. The cuisine is typical Friulian, where tradition is combined with a pinch of innovation and a great variety of wine labels. As an appetizer they offered us salami in vinegar with onion and a purple cabbage pie, we then continued with a portion of pork cheeks braised in Refosco accompanied by mashed potatoes and a portion of sem fillet, a dish prepared with three thin fillets of sorana , rolled up to form a swirl and then plated in a pan at medium cooking. We concluded with a dessert, Rigojanci, a chocolate cake typical of Trieste cuisine and of Hungarian origin, prepared with quality chocolate and in this case, with a rice-based sponge cake, light and sugar-free. I, a chocolate lover, really appreciated it, it was a great discovery. Trained and courteous staff, almost all female, from the cook to the dining room staff. Elegant location, honest prices.

10/03/2025: Very welcoming place and excellent, fast service. I have eaten there several times and have always enjoyed both the typical dishes of the Friulian tradition and the ethnic dishes. Very interesting choice of wines. An ideal place to spend a few hours in the company of excellent food and staff.
