06/03/2026: Cross-country skiing in the Saivera Valley of the Julian Alps. Five of us, old friends, discovered this welcoming and beautiful restaurant at the start of a magnificent 7-kilometer trail with breathtaking views. The staff were friendly and helpful, and on both lunch occasions, they served us quality local dishes, well-cooked and reasonably priced.
03/03/2026: Very welcoming place, with a warm, typical mountain hut atmosphere. The kitchen is open until 3:00 PM. The tagliatelle with mushrooms was exceptional! Reasonable prices. The owner is very kind, as are all the staff.

14/12/2025: Because of us, the experience was faster than it should have been. We were immediately delighted with the entree accompanied by a sparkling wine, followed by the restaurant's unique choice of having the menu brought to your table directly by the manager—a much appreciated experience. The atmosphere is very welcoming and attentive. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. The food is refined yet faithful to tradition. We tried the poached egg with white truffle, the Friulian cappuccino (very popular, there was one at every table and the comments were all positive), tagliatelle with venison ragù, and ravioli with formadi frant and pumpkin, accompanied by glasses recommended by the staff. A delight. P.S. The only downside: the price was a surprise.
16/11/2025: Osteria restaurant in Villalta di Fagagna. Delicious food with a focus on local products. The paccheri with Montasio fondue and Friulian truffle are highly recommended. Roberto is knowledgeable and friendly, with a quick wit. Highly recommended.

13/03/2026: Terrible experience, pizzas with hard, hard-to-chew dough. A raw ham/arugula/Parmesan pizza and a vegetable pizza cost €27.00, which seems completely excessive to me. Not only because of the unpleasant taste, but also because of the 1.5-hour wait. The street where you order is located a short distance from the pizzeria. I do not recommend it.
13/03/2026: I've stopped here several times, both for lunch with a fixed-price menu and for dinner with a restaurant or pizzeria. It's a lovely place where you can definitely eat well, and it's worth stopping by when you're in the area.

31/12/2025: Following a legitimate request for clarification formulated in the spirit of dialogue, the employee contacted by phone displayed a surprisingly rude attitude, lacking any professional grace, and adopted a style of speech that clearly bordered on the inappropriate. This behavior, besides being unpleasant, betrays a concept of customer service that is difficult to reconcile with basic hospitality standards. Regarding the price, the fee requested appears significantly disproportionate to the quality of the food offered. The pizzas, already visually unappealing, confirmed their overall modest nature upon tasting, resulting in disharmonious flavors and lacking any distinguishing note worthy of mention. The French fries were flaccid and lacking in structure, while the crust, with an excessively tough consistency, made the very act of chewing an exercise more akin to perseverance than pleasure. These shortcomings reveal a worrying superficiality in the execution and control of the final product. Overall, the experience paints a picture of an establishment with obvious shortcomings in both service and culinary excellence. A thorough and urgent review of its operational and interpersonal practices therefore appears essential if the restaurant intends to achieve standards even minimally commensurate with the expectations of a discerning and demanding clientele. A consultation with professionals with proven expertise in the sector would not only be appropriate, but hopefully lifesaving.

21/02/2026: A hotel with an incredible Alpine vibe. The Italian owner is very friendly and helpful, and makes excellent coffee. The views from the hotel and town perfectly capture the beauty of the Dolomites. The rooms were cleaned daily, and cleanliness was meticulously maintained. The hotel isn't a typical commercial hotel with a swimming pool, etc., but rather a cozy guesthouse for people who want to experience life in the Italian mountains. Perhaps if I were to nitpick, I could find some drawbacks. But if someone wanted to go to a spa, they would choose a larger resort and miss out on the experience of living in a small Alpine town. With all my heart and conscience, I can recommend this bed and breakfast.
21/02/2026: The hotel has a beautiful view of the mountains. The owner is very hospitable and kind. Breakfast had a wide selection, and the cold meats and cheeses were of very good quality, made from local produce. The hotel and rooms are very clean, with daily housekeeping. There is ample parking for guests directly below the hotel. We highly recommend it!

23/11/2025: I'm starting from the premise that I've always enjoyed the hospitality and quality of the place, and my family and I have always been regulars, but this time I can't say the same. Upon our arrival, we were "greeted" by the gentleman who manages and escorts customers to their tables. The welcome was very rude and surly. We simply asked politely for a table for a drink, but our request seemed "slow" and indirect to the gentleman, so he arrogantly asked me sarcastically if I were a Carabiniere... I've never seen such abrupt and inappropriate manners. All this was unnecessary, and even the other people in line were shocked. I have nothing to complain about the rest of the staff, except that they are very kind and helpful.
21/11/2025: Menu with particular dishes, typical but revisited. I ate a really good burger with frico and apple mustard. Excellent service, very friendly staff. I'll be back.

04/03/2026: We only used the restaurant as a group of 15 for Sunday lunch. The selection is sufficiently wide, including appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts. I highly recommend the pork shank (just the right size) and the goulash (truly top-notch). As for the first courses, since I haven't tried them, I can report very positive reviews. As for the appetizers, I have to give the mixed cold cuts a very high rating, while I think the cheeses could be improved, although they weren't absolutely bad (but that's my personal preference). I had a really good caramel pannacotta. In total, including six carafes of house wine and bottles of water, we spent about 30 euros, so absolutely reasonable prices. Unfortunately, perhaps the large number of people at the table contributed to this; it was a bit difficult to get everyone served at once with their dishes, but the wait wasn't excessive. Reasonably, 15 people is a bit more difficult to manage. There's plenty of parking available. Outside, at the entrance, there are benches and foosball tables. I recommend this restaurant and would happily return if I were to pass through this area again.
30/01/2026: Positive first experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Meat-focused menu with traditional Friulian and other dishes. I recommend the shin, if available. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the ingredients. The only complaint is that the service is a bit slow, but considering the number of seats, that can happen on weekends. Recommended.
