Grappolo d'Oro In Udine

I sat here briefly for a drink. It was okay.

We went with a group of parents from the Rome basketball team during the national basketball finals on May 10th, a large group of 15. We had a wonderful time, the food was excellent, the local wine was excellent, the service was quick for the kids, and the prices were very competitive. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful—in short, a fantastic experience!

Those who like a typical old tavern with very welcoming staff, where you can drink and eat Friulian food, can experience aromas that recall other times in the middle of the city of Udine!!!

Delicious food and wine at a low price!

I visited the osteria this morning for a quick lunchtime aperitivo. The atmosphere is quiet, very sunny, and well-maintained for an osteria. The eggplant skewers are some of the best I've ever eaten. The service is fast and clean. The young staff adds energy and a cheerful vibe to the atmosphere. I especially loved the short-haired girl serving tables. Despite the busy time, she always maintained a smile and was always friendly and professional with the customers, including me. The staff at the counter are precise with their orders and very open to conversation. I'll definitely be back!

A classic old-school osteria, and I think it should stay that way. The staff are friendly and, considering the volume of work, attentive to their customers. The appetizers are good. There's room for improvement in the quality/price ratio; I'll try the hot dishes.

This restaurant is located just steps from Udine Cathedral. The place isn't very large, but it also has outdoor seating. The historic restaurant is quite pleasant, and the staff is mostly young, but the waitresses, in particular, lack experience and seem a bit distracted when taking orders. You can't afford to wait nearly 40 minutes for six glasses of wine, after having to check your table number three times. Well, that can happen when you're working.

The change of management was a disaster

Rustic and welcoming place. Food with local specialties. I'll be back.
