We ordered several traditional dishes: beef with vegetables, duck with pineapple, and white rice. Precise cooking, fresh ingredients, and clean, distinct flavors, without overdoing the sauce or condiments. The meat was tender, the vegetables crunchy, and the duck flavorful, accompanied by a balanced, yet not cloying, sauce. The service is attentive and professional, unhurried but perfectly timed. Overall, the cuisine is authentic and more refined than average, fully justifying the restaurant's historic reputation. 📌 Overall rating: Recommended for those seeking quality, tradition, and a well-executed Chinese dinner.

26/10/2025: We were there during lunchtime, or rather a little after lunch, so we got a table without any problems. Staff friendly, food excellent. Although there was a small mistake with the order (I got a different type of meat) it was still very tasty. I would have liked a slightly larger portion, at least a side dish. After all, very tasty.

16/11/2025: A small, well-kept bar. I would always return for the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Ciabatta with delicious, carefully filled prosciutto. Good croissants and coffee. Adjacent street parking. Prices are reasonable.

23/11/2025: I'm starting from the premise that I've always enjoyed the hospitality and quality of the place, and my family and I have always been regulars, but this time I can't say the same. Upon our arrival, we were "greeted" by the gentleman who manages and escorts customers to their tables. The welcome was very rude and surly. We simply asked politely for a table for a drink, but our request seemed "slow" and indirect to the gentleman, so he arrogantly asked me sarcastically if I were a Carabiniere... I've never seen such abrupt and inappropriate manners. All this was unnecessary, and even the other people in line were shocked. I have nothing to complain about the rest of the staff, except that they are very kind and helpful.

21/11/2025: Menu with particular dishes, typical but revisited. I ate a really good burger with frico and apple mustard. Excellent service, very friendly staff. I'll be back.

22/11/2025: A welcoming bed and breakfast in a regal historic center, stone and wood. Tasteful, without frills or fancy decor. The restaurant is worth a visit.

17/11/2025: Spent a weekend in this wonderful place. The staff were incredibly kind and hospitable, the rooms fantastic, and the breakfast was delicious. Dinner was fantastic, with an excellent first course and two extraordinary Florentine steaks, beautifully grilled. CONGRATULATIONS. A PLACE I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN TO.

05/10/2025: Always a delicious meal. We had a trio of dishes, and for main course, bull fillets. Delicious!!

29/08/2025: Simple traditional Friulian dishes, mostly meat-based, with steak as the star. They're well-cooked, if a bit fatty. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, but the restaurant itself leaves much to be desired.

17/11/2025: Nice restaurant at a roundabout. Cool atmosphere, large menu, large portions. Unfortunately, most of the staff are not very experienced.

16/11/2025: We really enjoyed our stay. We received a free room upgrade at the beginning of October. The hotel overlooks pine trees, not the massive hotel complexes you often see elsewhere. Dinner, included in the reasonable half-board price, was excellent, as was breakfast, and gluten-free meals were no problem. We were able to store our bicycles securely, and swimming in the pool was wonderful.

29/10/2025: Please avoid this hotel if you are a pet owner. They are dishonest about the pet fee. They over charge you at the end of your stay, because they give misleading information about the fee at the check-in, and they never take the responsibility of their mistake. Dogs are not allowed in the dining area, so you end up paying €25 or more per day just to leave your pet locked in the room and suffering alone. Rooms are dirty and pets can get sick of the dirt there. Dogs with separation anxiety will have extremely distressing experience. This hotel is a shame in a country that is supposed to be pet friendly.
