31/08/2025: We tried this restaurant at the recommendation of friends. A wonderful discovery! The dishes are very good and unconventional, and the price is perfectly in line with the quality and portions. But the best part that makes the dinner and the service even more enjoyable is: They give you plenty of time to decide, eat without rushing, and without having to clear the table for the next tourist! Linda is truly welcoming and makes you feel pampered! A place that has made an impression on us and where we will gladly return! One observation: the menu doesn't tell you the price, but in the end, you're pleasantly surprised! Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

24/08/2025: Second visit within a week... Originally from Vendoglio but living in Udine for years, we discovered a small but wonderful place! The place is small, but the welcome is warm... the desserts made by the owner are pure poetry, but the pizzerias are no exception! Classic pizzas, not the ones with huge crusts, but very digestible and just the right amount of flavor... the first courses are delicious and served with flair... we'll be back! 28/07/2025: A day hike starting from the Moggio-Pontebba provincial road. The trail is beautiful, the first stretch is beneath the forest, then opens up with views of the Crete and the "sphinx." The staff are very friendly, the food is excellent, including the goulash. Payment is in cash, and they also sell the refuge's colorful t-shirts. Congratulations. A pleasant and quiet place, but it's a shame about the constant barking of some Sunday visitors' dogs.

08/09/2025: Excellent cuisine and friendly service. A typical restaurant, a true gem. 08/09/2025 After many years, we returned to this place. The food and service remain worthy of the 5* rating we received years ago, and this is a testament to their dedication and professionalism. We found a variety of dishes that combine traditional Friulian cuisine with an Asian twist. Slow food par excellence. Also great for children and dogs!!

05/09/2025: Very good. There could be some improvement, given the quality (pretty good). For example, the Aztec cocoa ice cream: the cocoa is excellent, but it has too many ice cubes inside. Prices are a bit high. I'm still giving it 5 stars because the guys deserve it and I'm sure they can improve further.

07/08/2025: Since we were staying in Pesariis, we couldn't miss this restaurant. We found it by chance through social media and decided to make a reservation. I strongly recommend it, as it's a small place. What can I say? Highly recommended! Quality ingredients, detailed explanations of all the dishes, attentive customer service, and a unique atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

The food is prepared by those who work in the kitchen with passion, dedication, and a love for food, good food, and the ingredients—fresh, local, and creatively paired. The presentation of the dishes is marvelous. The attention to service and the dining room is equally meticulous and executed with love for their profession and for everything that goes into hospitality. A truly beautiful place, with excellent food, well-prepared and crafted, and equally beautifully presented and served.

12/08/2025: We were there this weekend as cycle tourists and had a wonderful time!!!!! The place was extremely clean, tidy, and perfectly equipped for cyclists. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and always smiling. There were large spaces and a perfect garden for children. I've never had such a good time. I'll recommend it to all my friends who are in the area. IF I COULD GIVE 10 STARS. I FORGOT... WE ATE EXCELLENTLY AT THE RESTAURANT. MORE THAN EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY.

The Milanese cutlet is enormous, tender, and delicious. The dessert is mouth-watering. The brothers are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

19/07/2025: Come spesso siamo soliti, quando restiamo più giorni nella nostra casa qui a Bagnoregio, ieri sera siamo andati a cena al Ristorante “C’era una volta l’Hostaria”. Avevo, come sempre, mandato un messaggio a Lorena Paolucci per prenotare, dato che è sempre meglio visto che non era raro trovare tutto pieno. Lorena mi aveva risposto, con la solita cortesia, che dal 20 giugno erano “andate in pensione”: un modo simpatico per farmi sapere che avevano lasciato l’attività. Allo stesso tempo mi aveva girato il contatto di Magdalena, la nuova proprietaria, confermandomi sia della presenza di Renata Gentili, persona indispensabile per la gestione della sala, oltre che della qualità della nuova ristorazione. Devo dire che, sul momento, ero rimasto perplesso, proprio perché in questi anni Lorena & C. sono state impeccabili sotto tutti i punti di vista, ma la presenza di Renata e la presentazione fatta mi ha convinto a provare. Ed abbiamo fatto benissimo. Il cambio di proprietà ha indubbiamente portato ad una interpretazione dei piatti diversa, ma la qualità dei prodotti, la preparazione di Ica, chef e mamma di Magdalena, e la professionalità di Renata ci hanno piacevolmente colpiti. Abbiamo cenato in modo impeccabile sotto tutti i punti di vista, anche se non ci è sfuggita la contenuta presenza di clienti: e la cosa, sinceramente, mi è molto dispiaciuta. Credo che chi frequentava assiduamente il locale nella precedente gestione non debba farsi ingannare dalla titubanza di alcuni e provare direttamente, dando l’opportunità ad una giovane proprietaria di dimostrare le proprie capacità. Conosco abbastanza Bagnoregio, ma confido che il modo oramai “antiquato” di ragionare possa lasciare il posto ad una visione un tantino più “moderna”: cosa che, d’altronde, è stata negli anni recenti, foriera di notevoli miglioramenti sotto tanti punti di vista.
