29/05/2025: Trattoria located in Campolongo al Torre. Welcoming place. Kind and friendly staff, family-run. The fish is divine. Excellent appetizers, well-finished also from an aesthetic point of view. Must try!!!

17/05/2025: Ham from San Daniele – well, it's known worldwide and truly an absolute specialty, and it's really interesting to take a look behind the scenes. Here, you'll be explained how ham production works and what is necessary to create such a specialty. Of course, there's also a tasting so you can convince yourself of the quality. At the end, as usual, you have the opportunity to take a small or larger piece of ham home with you directly from the producer :). It's definitely worth a look and is almost a must. Thanks for the insight, we really enjoyed it.

18/05/2025: Arrived by chance on the advice of the owner of a nursery in Osoppo. I am struck by the welcome in a place that feels like home but with a chic touch. Exceptional raw materials, we ate very well with seasonal proposals that were also very refined. Also local products and displayed at the counter. The best tiramisu I have ever eaten, delicious apple crumble and ice cream, exceptional chard and spring onion soup. Everything was delicious. The staff is very kind and empathetic, easy-going and attentive to detail. A special applause to Jacopo who advised us on what to choose according to our requests. This is exactly what I mean by "going out to eat": you have to eat healthily like at home, feel like a queen and at the same time feel absolutely at ease. Well done, well done, well done!!! Prices displayed without surprises and the cover charge is free and mind you, it is one of the best covers I have seen so far.

08/06/2025: Very good pizza, always very kind and fast in the service. Mainly for take-away although there are some tables for a quick slice.

30/05/2025: I ate a pizza calzone (classic style) that was as good as I've had in years. The price (€7.50 per pizza was a very large one) and the preparation time (a cigarette length) were outstanding. If I'm in the area again, I'll eat here again.

15/06/2025: Place to avoid. The staff stands out for their rudeness and total lack of professionalism. If you are a girl, prepare yourself to be treated with annoyance and impatience: the waitress seems more focused on feeling threatened than doing her job. I think that an adult woman who works in contact with the public should resolve her own insecurities rather than project them onto the customers. The owner is equally rude with offensive and unacceptable jokes. Mediocre dinner, €220 for four, an indecent experience. Never again.

27/04/2025: Dopo un weekend lungo tra Slovenia ed Austria con amici del Piemonte decido di fare qui l'ultimo pranzo prima di salutarci. C'ero già stato ed avevo un buon ricordo, probabilmente perché non avevo pagato io il conto l'ultima volta... 4 piatti di prosciutto crudo, 8 fettine(ine) di focaccia, formaggi, burratine e sottaceti per 8 persone, 1lt di rosso e mezzo di bianco della casa, 2lt di acqua, 7 fettine(ine) di torta e 3 caffè. Tutto buono anche se molto "spartano". Conto: 253€ Per 3gg abbiamo girato Austria e Slovenia mangiando sempre al ristorante (non mc Donald), mangiando carne e piatti anche elaborati, (non bevendo solo acqua), con dessert e caffè al seguito, non spendendo mai più di 80/100€ a nucleo famigliare. Spendere qui più di 31€ a testa per me non è decisamente proporzionale rispetto a quanto abbiamo visto in tavola. Peccato davvero perché volevamo lasciare un ultimo bel ricordo ai nostri amici ed invece ce ne siamo andati via tutti con l'amaro in bocca.

25/06/2025: Went for dinner, two days in a row because of a training course in the area. I had known the traditional Friulian dishes for a long time, but I have to say that Mrs. Odillia's frico is probably the best I have eaten. The polenta with cheeses was also something remarkable. A little pearl. A special mention to the managers who proved to be not only professional, but very kind and with great attention. I have not tried the rooms. But if you pass by Codroipo, you cannot miss having lunch/dinner at Risorgive.

15/06/2025: We had dinner at Acqua Pazza but it didn't go well. We started with a trio of tartare and a mixed grill, with the goal of trying something else later. When the grill arrived, there was a strong smell of ammonia coming from the scampi. The smell was terribly strong. For those who don't know, the smell of ammonia in fish is a strong warning sign that the fish is no longer fresh. The smell of ammonia develops due to bacterial decomposition and protein degradation in dead fish, especially if not stored properly at low temperatures. In other cases, ammonia is used to whiten the fish and mask its decomposition. Back to dinner, I put it aside and continued with the rest which did not smell of ammonia. Dinner was a worry because we also had raw fish. I discreetly pointed out the problem, I was told that they would check, so I thanked them. Not receiving any feedback, I head to the cashier with the awareness of being just another scammed tourist. At the cashier I am given the bill without the classic question "Was everything okay?" or even "we apologize for the problem", we were only asked, verbatim: "Do you want a sorbet?" At which, not wanting to continue being the tourist mentioned above, I decline, thank them and leave. Dear customers, smell the fish at Acqua Pazza because it could already be thrown away and a restaurant should never put it on your plates. The reason for the negative review is only due to the lack of apologies or explanations from the restaurant. Maybe I wouldn't have given 5 stars, but I would certainly have avoided reviewing. ---EDIT FOLLOWING THE LOCAL'S RESPONSE- I would like to clarify that: 1. I have no reason to give a negative review, after all the waiter was very kind and there were no other shortcomings. 2. The review is not a punishment for the restaurant, but a warning for future customers. And 3. The restaurant claims that what I write is false, yet we heard the waiter inform the cashier that "in fact the fish smelled". The restaurant, with its response, confirms the bad faith and carelessness towards customers in pointing them out as liars, after having served rotten fish. If this is your way of working, good luck.

15/06/2025: A place away from the hustle and bustle of the center, but easy to reach. The raw fish is good, it's a shame that the tartar is served directly on ice and it's annoying that some ice ends up in your mouth. John Dory fish for two people, baked in the oven, not very good, it's stringy and dry, for 64 euros it's definitely not worth it. The Neapolitan style pizza was definitely the best
