Invited to a communion booked several months ago, we found ourselves about twenty of us crowded together at a large table. I spent lunch sitting crosswise with constant knocks from people at the table behind and from the waiters who had to pass by... I say if you don't have a place, don't confirm with the customer... it's a shame because the staff and food were excellent... but I couldn't wait to leave

Passing by, on the recommendation of locals, for a quick dinner in a truly beautiful place, with wonderful service and a tempting menu. Excellent quality meat, grilled right in the center of the large dining room. In short, we hope to return soon to order a full dinner.

Highly recommended for its ambiance, friendliness, and perfect hospitality! Meat lovers will be in heaven. The prosciutto and pasta could be improved, but perhaps my wife is just too good at making pasta and risotto 😇👍

I had a family lunch and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the place. The interior was elegant, the service impeccable, competent, and courteous. The appetizers were sophisticated (I recommend the smoked goose prosciutto, porcini mushrooms, and spicy pear mustard) and the meats were superb and well-cooked. Excellent wines and a decent selection of beers. I'll definitely be returning.

08/03/2026: Fish dinner for two. ...I expected better. We chose eggplant and fish parmigiana for our appetizer—a great idea, but too salty for me—and a raw fish dish. For our main course, baked turbot with a side of vegetables. It was good, but the bones were poorly boned; I found the bones. To finish, the dessert. Wine by the glass was overpriced for the winery offered (€6.00 ​​a glass). My husband chose a second course, which was also poured into the same glass. We paid €153.00. The waiters were kind and friendly, but the service was a bit slow.
15/02/2026: Yesterday, Valentine's Day, lunch for 9 people. The place is impressive, with attention to detail. The owners are welcoming and the staff impeccable! The food is excellent, prepared with love and skill, from the appetizers to the first and second courses of fish, as well as the pizzas: definitely a good value.

Trattoria Al Cjavedal

10/06/2026: A beautiful location, it lets you experience the true essence of Friuli. The only pro, or con, depending on your preference, is the presence of a very special guest, a cicada, who will accompany you with his songs throughout the dinner (the cicada, of course, lives in its own little house).
17/05/2026: A lovingly decorated trattoria, frequented mainly by locals, where everything feels very homely. The owner is very welcoming and polite and takes excellent care of her guests.
