06/04/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance located on top of a magnificent promontory overlooking the Friulian mountains! Even though we hadn't booked, they immediately found us a table for two and we were struck (my daughter and I) by how time, in this place... has stopped... it's definitely welcoming and warm, with an enchanting, very well-kept garden! The cuisine and the menu, despite being a bit retro themselves, really impressed us with the freshness and quality of the ingredients! We ate very well and were treated with great care and professionalism by young and well-trained staff...the bill was more than affordable and we can't wait to return to taste the rest of the menu!

30/03/2025: Nice location, food? Appetizer of courgette flowers au gratin with mushrooms and truffles, too stuffed, too much breadcrumbs, stringy, first the famous ciarsons with herbs, good, except that they were floating in melted butter! Worth seeing again!

08/02/2025: Outstanding. Special restaurant, situated in a picturesque small village, tranquil, with lovely views of the valley and the mountains. The food is spectacular, tastefully home-made. We had a lardo, tagliata and pasticcio. Well worth the short drive from the valley. Friendly hosts. Grazie mille!

Food and cuisine with broad horizons with traditional dishes revised and delicious. Excellent cellar, courteous service, more than fair price Highly recommended

19/11/2024: Simply perfect. While traveling around the eastern hills of Friuli, looking for a place to eat something, just when we were about to lose hope we came across this restaurant. From the first moment we were enchanted. Thanks to the beautiful sunny day we decided to have lunch outside, enjoying one of the most beautiful views you can admire, directly over the vineyards and hills. The very kind hostess immediately welcomed us with the typical Friulian frankness. We had a typical appetizer of local cured meats and cheese that was simply delicious. Then homemade tagliatelle with mushrooms, the lady had been cooking all morning and the taste and flavor of the risotto tagliatelle are difficult to describe in words. Priceless. Excellent local wine, light but strong and coffee. Truly an experience worth trying again. If we are in the area we will definitely return. The interiors are also splendid, furnished with taste and warm, soft colours, wood, porcelain, crystals and candelabras. There is also a fireplace. Definitely a wedding favor in winter. Compliments!!!!

10/03/2025: mangiare sia pizza che carne buono ma 3euro a testa di coperto e un dolce quasi 7 euro mi sembra eccessivo mezzo di birra normale 6,50?????

04/03/2025: Grande ristorante, ci è stato consigliato dall'albergatore dell',hotel dove soggiornavamo a Trieste vista la nostra visita ad Aquileia. Che dire? La miglior carne grigliata che abbia mai mangiato. Prezzi più che onesti e nel coperto era compresa anche l'acqua frizzante, personale supergentile. Consigliatissimo!

30/12/2024: What a lovely surprise! Here, passing through Arta Terme, we stopped to eat a sandwich and a club sandwich: delicious! Nice environment and courteous staff, which is not a given these days. Well done!

04/03/2025: Pessimo proprietario ordiniamo e i cibi arrivano a rate e dopo tempi lunghissimi io essendo allergico alla cipolla specifico e nonostante mi viene servito un panino colmo di cipolla,lo lascio per intero e nonostante lo segnalassi mi viene detto che la colpa è del cuoco che non è venuto al lavoro ma mi è stato fatto pagare ugualmente.... scorretto

15/03/2025: Ho dato il massimo del punteggio perché ho trovato una qualità di carne eccellente un ambiente tranquillo nonostante fosse pieno ed un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La volta precedente abbiamo provato il pesce ed era eccellente.

15/02/2025: I went to this restaurant with friends and none of us were satisfied. We ordered a Florentine steak: they didn't show us the piece before cooking it, much less the price. Other restaurants do it, as it should be. When they brought us the meat, it was overcooked, not to mention burnt, and inedible given its toughness... despite this, we also paid a lot for it. The tiramisu tasted like nothing. We won't be back. The only positive thing? Some (male) waiters are kind, friendly and helpful (only for them I give 2 stars).

12/03/2025: Cena dell'Aringa con amici. Come primo una pasta con moscardini e seppioline, poi il baccalà con polenta, ottimo e abbondante. Infine un piattone con diversi tipi di cottura di aringa . Lo strudel veramente buono ! Complimenti.
