The Si-Si Hotel in Gemona, where I had the pleasure of staying for one night, deserves a special mention. The atmosphere, seemingly small, surprises you upon entering, perhaps revealing the stinginess of the star rating. It's been a while since I've come across a hotel that, despite its simplicity, exudes great functionality and efficiency, both in its service and hospitality. Recommended.

Perfect for those traveling by car or bicycle between Italy and Austria. The room with a terrace is fantastic. Check-in and check-out are self-service with a QR code. Only breakfast is a bit so-so, with industrial jams, a very sweet juice, and slices of cheese and ham upon request. Part of the building also serves as a restaurant, bar, and tobacconist.

A quiet hotel with perfect service, great breakfast and absolutely fabulous dinner.
