06/04/2026: A small, exquisite cave. We found ourselves rather by chance in front of the house at 2:00 PM. By 3:00 PM, nine other interested people had arrived. For the tour, you need a warm jacket and knowledge of English, Slovenian, or Italian. I only partially understood the tour, which was in Italian and peppered with political statements. However, the guide's expertise was considerable. We were bumped along to the entrance on a tractor trailer, where the alternator first had to be started. The view of the cave was fantastic. Seeing the Earth's interior is fascinating.

02/06/2026: I went with my wife for dinner on Sunday and the first evening went well despite the very long service times. I paid €77 for a portion of mussels as an appetizer, 1 spaghetti with clams (tasteless), 1 spaghetti with seafood, 1 mixed fried fish, water and half a liter of Friulano. Let's repeat yesterday evening where they were out of everything when ordering... half a portion of mussels compared to the previous evening, then finished... mixed fried fish not available... desserts ditto for the tart... at that point we decided to end the dinner with only 2 appetizers because we were annoyed by the poor service and the various shortcomings including: 1 appetizer of a few mussels and 1 mixed mixed appetizer, 2 desserts, half a liter of Friulano, water... We complained that we had spent a full €80 for a dinner with 2 appetizers!! I pointed out that the night before we spent less and ate more courses... when we complained, a waiter refunded me €10 because the owner was busy! With these 2 receipts, we will go to the relevant offices as they are deemed excessive and improper requests! On top of not having dined adequately, the insult of overpaying! Money is earned, not thrown away like this! I chose this restaurant that friends had recommended to me because the restaurant I have been going to for many years, "Alla Marina", next door, was closed for rest. Shameful... and goodbye!

31/05/2026: We're not there: no service on the terrace, we were a group... the first course was cold and unsalted, and the wait between courses was incredibly long! There's no waiter to look after you during dinner, which is annoying... we got up, went to pay, and left... then went back to another place for coffee and a liqueur, which was expensive... especially considering that nearby they offer you sorbet or liqueur! Never again, first and last!

We had a seafood salad, pasta alla Barcolana, and a mixed seafood grill: everything was excellent, with a glass of wine and a sorbet to finish. The price was average for the area and what we ate.

12/05/2026: Excellent sandwiches, good beer, fair prices, and very fast service. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. The only downside is that they don't charge separate bills for groups. If you have cash, no problem.

21/05/2026: Trattoria, whether nuovo or antico, is actually beside the point. The son is in the kitchen, the nonna is serving, and the junior is on a video call on his mobile. Very authentic, a family-run business, just like you'd expect from a real trattoria. The waiter seemed a little flustered, but it's unusual to be eating lunch alone. The crudo was exactly how I like it: no frills, just salt, oil, and fresh with a hint of sea air. The daily special, gnocchi capesante e asparagi, was excellent! The house wine, a Friulano, was local, honest, and perfectly chilled, and at a price that could almost be considered a gift. The sorbet afterward was creamy and lemony just as it should be; only my hunger couldn't quite manage the large portion. Thank you, it was wonderful, I'd love to come back again!

16/05/2026: My wife and I spent two days in Trieste. The highlight was definitely the restaurant. Friendly, attentive, and absolutely delicious. They catered to our every need. Italian, German, and English were no problem. The atmosphere was fantastic. This is Bella Italia! 👍🏼

29/05/2026: Go Vegan dishes are truly super!!! Also a great vegan alternative for those who aren't meat eaters... The excellent cuisine also adapts, with some variations, to vegans with succulent vegetable-based dishes...

28/04/2026: Phenomenal! It's been a long time since I've eaten this well! This restaurant is head and shoulders above Sushi Amabile! I prefer ordering takeout. You have to wait a bit, but they prepare everything freshly, so you can taste the freshness of the food! I recommend it 100%!
