10/05/2026: The man who served us was kind and explained everything very well to us even though we didn't speak Italian. The atmosphere was cheerful and homely. There isn't much seating so be prepared to stand, don't let that put you off this place as it adds a special charm and atmosphere. The price is very fair and the food is delicious, something for everyone. There are also numerous wine and drink options.

15/06/2026: Today we had a reservation for 6 people, and you closed the restaurant without letting us know!!! If this kind of behavior seems normal to you! We obviously won't be returning because I had to rearrange a business lunch, much to the shame of the guests who weren't expecting this surprise!

12/05/2026: We ate very well, even though the place is small. We didn't have to wait long for a table. We enjoyed authentic Trieste cuisine, plus a fantastic strudel with warm cream. We'll definitely be back before we leave.

26/07/2026: Our first time in Trieste, we were looking for a restaurant where we could eat well, and after seeing the dishes, we asked for a recommendation... excellent! The staff was super friendly; we ordered seafood dishes and, despite the wait, we ate deliciously! Excellent value, the portions were generous, the fish delicious, and you could taste it was fresh. The wait was made up for with two rounds of complimentary limoncello. Finally, we said goodbye, meeting one of the staff members who was very friendly, courteous, and incredibly helpful. An excellent introduction to Trieste and to us, who, we already know, will be back.

26/07/2026: Very kind. I asked for some talcum powder because I'd stained my face. They kindly gave me a spray with a brush attached. I ate very well.

06/08/2026: Truly an excellent experience! We visited this seafood restaurant, very fresh and perfectly cooked, with beautifully presented and flavorful dishes. The menu offers a wide selection, but since there were four of us, we opted for a Joy platter, accompanied by a bottle of wine. The platter contained scallops, gratinated mussels, scallops, breaded fillets, fried calamari, and pistachio prawns, all accompanied by sweet potatoes. Everything was truly delicious and plentiful. The staff was kind, attentive, and always available. The atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, ideal for a dinner as a couple or for a dinner with friends. The quality/price ratio was also excellent. I recommend it to anyone who loves good seafood and a relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

16/07/2026: Without a doubt, this is one of the great restaurants not only in Trieste, but in Italy. The restaurant itself is worth the visit: it's a very well-preserved building from 1830. The atmosphere is elegant and the service is very kind, especially the maître d' and sommelier, Loris, a philosopher of the good life. We had 4 glasses of wine (excellent suggestions from Loris), 2 appetizers and 3 main courses. Don't miss the seafood risotto: one of the best we've ever tasted. Perfect evening!

08/04/2026: Heaven on earth for celiacs 🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰. I arrived in Trieste very late a few nights ago and as always when I travel my fear is not finding anything or almost nothing AIC certified. But, thanks to an Instagram profile I follow, I discovered this wonderful place 🥰. What can I say! Excellent and super nutritious breakfast, welcoming place with attention to the smallest details, kind and qualified staff from those behind the counter to those serving at the tables, a huge selection of products obviously gluten-free but also dairy-free. I will stay for a few days in Trieste and it will be my place of ❤️.

The quality is top-notch: you can immediately taste the care taken in the raw materials and preparation, unlike packaged or standardized products. The staff is extremely kind, professional, and respectful, always available to explain and advise with expertise and courtesy. The atmosphere is very pleasant, welcoming, and relaxing, and it's truly a pleasure to return each time. 16/07/2026: The restaurant looks beautiful. It was very quiet there. The service is very friendly and formal. The bread tasted very good and the amuse-bouche we received had a very surprising flavor. You also get a glass of house prosecco. I had duck breast fillet; the meat was good, but the presentation was very sparse. 2 pieces of caramelized onions and some apple sauce-like dollops. No sauce or side dishes; this was also the case for my partner, who had the Angus steak. The tiramisu and the chocolate ball were very tasty. Definitely recommended!
