12/09/2025: The place is quaint, and you can eat outside in the courtyard, shaded by the trees. Service is fast, and the owners are attentive and courteous. The food is all authentic and high-quality; the cured meats and cheeses are excellent, as are the vegetables and crostini. The desserts are delicious. The prices are very fair. Definitely worth trying again. Reservations are recommended, as it's always crowded during opening hours.
26/08/2025: A wonderful experience, for the food (excellent quality cured meats, cheeses, bread, and desserts!), for the setting (the courtyard of a country house... like being with family!), for the punctual service (very fast, despite the many guests!), for the serene and joyful atmosphere that enriched our holiday! Thank you so much... I recommend everyone to try it!!!

(I had reserved a table for a company dinner, but not only did they not reserve it for me, but the owner was extremely rude.)

06/04/2026: A small, exquisite cave. We found ourselves rather by chance in front of the house at 2:00 PM. By 3:00 PM, nine other interested people had arrived. For the tour, you need a warm jacket and knowledge of English, Slovenian, or Italian. I only partially understood the tour, which was in Italian and peppered with political statements. However, the guide's expertise was considerable. We were bumped along to the entrance on a tractor trailer, where the alternator first had to be started. The view of the cave was fantastic. Seeing the Earth's interior is fascinating.

01/05/2026: We were there for lunch today, May 1st. We had a nice table, excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, beautiful surroundings, excellent food, we had a great time.
15/04/2026: Mediocre, it doesn't respect the ingredients on the menu. The risotto was missing scallops and the prawns only had scallops that weren't mentioned. However, having been born a sea fisherman, I reply that the scallops weren't there at all.

13/04/2026: An evening with friends spent in a welcoming place with friendly and efficient staff! It's nice to relive the experiences of the '80s when sandwich shops first emerged! Extensive menu with a variety of choices.
07/04/2026: I love this place, but I must say that they probably reduced the amount of ham in the sandwich to save money: two slices, even small ones, seems a bit too little to me; you couldn't even taste the ham. I was a bit disappointed (the ham was reduced for the increased price). The price of the fries (€6.50) seems really excessive, so much so that we didn't order them. The cover charge also seems a bit high (€1.50) for a paper placemat.

21/04/2026: Very nice place, with a varied and enjoyable menu. I recommend the mussels with pepper. The pizza is one of the best in Trieste.
06/04/2026: Making a reservation via WhatsApp was incredibly quick. This pizzeria with its wood-fired oven is uncomplicated and ideal for a cozy evening enjoying pizza, pasta, and wine. The wine selection is exceptionally good, and the service is efficient and attentive to the many guests. The price-performance ratio is also excellent.

13/12/2025: We arrived late (about half an hour before closing) and without a reservation, but we were served well and quickly. The food was well-prepared and the portions were adequate. Prices were average, and the quality was above average. A place to mark in your diary, but without a reservation, you risk not getting a table because it's always packed (the food is really good).

Delicious food at a fair price
Reservations are almost mandatory given the limited seating available.
09/02/2026: It's a bit remote, but the little extra effort is amply rewarded. A quiet little village of stone, exposed brick, and cobblestones, the place is unfussy, old-fashioned, sincere, and clean, and welcoming. No music, just the conversation. Good selection of first courses, local meats that are always fresh and well-grilled. Delicious desserts (I usually don't order them, but considering they're homemade, I saw them pass by...). Very fair prices, friendly and helpful staff.

It used to be safe because of its low prices, but now not even that. The place is dirty, the pizza has deteriorated, and the waiters are increasingly rude. Long waits, zero organization, and a total lack of interest in customers. Total disappointment.
08/08/2025: Good morning, I was here the other night and was quite surprised (in a negative way).
The air was unbreathable, really too stuffy and hot. Even if you're there on December 31st, it's best to wear a tank top or you'll sweat.
Let's get to the weak point: the pizza. I've never seen such a thin pizza; it was almost transparent (maximum 2 mm); the taste matched the appearance.
If you're passing this street, keep going.

08/04/2026: A very beautiful agriturismo, surrounded by greenery and with a small children's play area. The only downside, unfortunately, for me, is the house wine: the red has a very acidic, almost vinegary aftertaste, and the white has a medicinal taste. There are no beers (bottled only) or they run out quickly because, according to the staff, they're all about the wine, as it's an agriturismo. That's fine. The food is neither glamorous nor infamous; if you have kids and order the Milanese, one is more than enough; they're enormous!
For vegetarians, the menu, like most agriturismos, is very limited.
08/03/2026: I had lunch yesterday, March 7th, the food was delicious.
